Our old cat was just over a stone and was a bad ass when younger, always in fights. One occasion, he had a big ruck in an old bon fire area, came in the next morning totally grey in ash (he was ginger) and limping badly. Vets bill was epic and he spent 6 weeks with his front leg in a splint, clattering around the house. Did'nt like it one bit and did'nt learn him either. Lived till he was over 21. A dude.

Should be ok, just work out your stack hieghts and fit an according stem and headset. Shimano do a low stack headset, then its a case of how much you've got left for a stem. Sunline stems are about the lowest and crop up on the classifieds now and again. Smaller frames have pretty short head tubes so do your homework first and should be cool.

+1 for ringo, worked in a garden centre plant area for 5 years and pyracantha is the one you want, looks ok to with flowers spring and red, yellow or orange berries autumn. Has a dense habit and spikes can grow to 2 inches, ask any landscape gardener about them and they will have had a run in at some point. Your local garden centre should stock them year round and they're not to pricey…job done.

Had some 170's on for a while, assumed they were 175's, never bothered to check, did'nt notice any difference at all, only found out when cleaning the 170's for sale purposes some 1 1/2 years later.

Sounds like a sticky master cylinder piston, hayes strokers have had this problem, took my strokers apart twice as both levers were at it, a touch of grease in the bore sorts it, but, the right lever was'nt playing ball so in try it and see, put in and old nine piston as its the same thing and sorted.

Use a grease (unlike me) that does'nt knacker rubber, mine are fine and have been for ages now and during all this, can completely strip and rebuild my brakes now easy peeezie. Should'nt need new brakes for years really.

The Rocky is referred to as my 'mistress'. ie 'Taking your mistress on holiday again and not me' by my girlfriend, as the other two are frames and bits at the mo.

    Can't blame her really.

Has anyone noticed the music on the new Santander ad has a remarkable similarity to the beginning of Beneath The Remains by Sepultura? Something ironic in there for sure.

Nope, to get the best out of your board your weight should be evenly distributed ie keeping your weight central over the board, but you knew that right

That was my problem. I did one day of snowboarding 20 years ago, was skateboarding alot at the time so thought it would translate easily…it did'nt….Skis on the other hand, easy peasy.

I can safely say…snowboard. Skiing puts alot of pressure on zi knees, the required bending of zi knees won't do you any favours, and if you crash you are more likely to damage knees as i have learnt with much pain included. I would'nt ski myself as it will probably end in more pain and, when you bugger knees skiing, it bloody hurts like hell.

As said though, snowboarding results in alot of knee impacts, well it does if you crap like me, so perhaps some pads and a little caution??
