My only off was on the road this year on my hack, clipped some railings on Brentford High St, kinda burst my knuckles open on my right hand and probably broke my left hand, severe friction burn on my left upper arm, a twisted right knee and grazed right knee. Three days off the bike then back on it, could’nt use my front brake properly for 10 days or so.. a slow 10 days.

Didn’t hurt much though…

Aye…got some of the lads coming round to watch the Oz heads drop, kinda hope it takes a while..but is a pointless stand. Will be very good whatever.

Well, having had enough of being a courier, 5 years 3 months and knowing full well it was always gonna be a short lived thing (5 years is 4 to many), i’m on a mission in the new year to do what i want to do. Riding for a living has had its moments, i know central London better than the back of my hand and the sights have been something else but painting and getting back into my music are where it’s at so yeah..artist and musician….allowing more time to ride for fun.
This, should it go as i’d like, should afford me greater opportunities to see more and experience more. I hope.

(I) Use these with a Cowon i9 player and together they are superb.
The Cowon player completely leaves Apple standing in a pool of rank water.
For the price, they are very difficult to top and my old man was a sound recordist for the beeb for 30 years so i’m well trained!

Hmmm My rear pro2 has done over 10000 miles and is still fine. The old xc hub i had was 6 years old before they went and the one i’m running now has had the bearings changed in the last two months, original bearings came out from a 2004 hub. So…..dunno really. This end, can’t moan to much as yet.

It’s all a learning curve….at one point in my first attempt…i was ready to kill anyone….but then it got better….once it’s been done and you can iron out any shite(ban) …then it all rolls along just fine.

first time was a bit of a faff but when i changed the latex, did the whole lot again knowing what to do….pretty simple, not even losing any air.
