Yeah Loctite 290. Few drops, leave bike upside down for a day or two.

It apparently works for some not for others . I will know in the morning.

You need to look at the Nano X evo.  Loads in stock.

My Yari have just started doing this recently.

Trying the loctite 290 fix this weekend but have also ordered some Mattocs just in case. I like a quiet bike and it’s pretty much silent except for this.

I have just calculated that if I run the mattoc at 25 percent  sag like I do with the Yari, the increase in sagged a2c is actually only about 9mm so doubt I will be decreasing the travel if I replace the Yari.

That’s a 150mm Yari by the way.

How easy is it to fit the it and change travel.

I am not sure if 160mm will be a little too much for my Escarpe.

I have considered it as it’s a hilly 110 miles a week to and from work. Would need to be an emtb.

They are bloody expensive and I couldn’t get the food shopping in it.

A chap called Greg Minaar seems to like doing it.  He has been moderately successful at downhill.

I have an Escarpe, albeit a 2016. The newer ones are slightly longer I believe.

It’s a great bike. It rides like it has more travel than 135mm and pedals well. I built mine up from a frame and have 150mm Yaris up front.

They won’t stay up without sealant.

Depends.

Mine stayed up for 3 days until I got round to adding the sealant.

My main reason for that was i just figured it would be a less messy option (or less potential for mess)
