I would suggest using a regular sized cadence sensor.

Thats not too bad. Will save about 200g over my current wherls, but have 4mm extra internal rim width.

Price seems reasonable, though the hubs seem a bit hard to find info on regarding reliability of freehub etc. Weight?

On outright speed I have always thought weight makes little or no difference.

Accelerating or decelerating though, and therefore average speed, it possibly makes more difference on a mtb than on a road ride with long periods of consistent speed.

I like the Superstar Components Grinder lock ons.

Only downside is they look, and sound like they could be a sex toy.

Thats because they can see they are getting web traffic from a link on a cycling forum.

Simple one, but getting mtb bars perfectly straight since the move to long travel forks. Much harder to achieve, and i never feel like its quite right.

If anyone does catch them, they shouldbang their head of the wood, then chuck them onto the spikes. Throw in an old BSO as well, then report it. I doubt they would own up to be the person who put them there.

Any of that consideration for thr poor rider who encounters the dog? Or do you avoid purely out of thought for your dogs?

    Shouldn’t be allowed IMO.

Have you sold your Orange yet? If not, fancy sending it to me? I will sort the money out once I receive the bike.

Dont listen to Nikk. His howl is worse than the brakes.

    Nothing wrong with Shimano brakes.

Autosol metal polish is great for this.

I also took it to mean that they have/can get you a fork for any wheel size. Guy at the bike shop probably thought you were a bit slow.

Not true if Royal Mail or Parcelforce though. If a company trues to charge me extra, but uses either of those, i remind them it doesnt cost anymore, and then take my business elsewhere.

To add some balance, ordered between Christmas and new year, delivered very quickly and no problems at all.

I suppose so, going from a really heavy combo to an average one ( weight wise) would save a chunk.

Is that enough sealant in quite large tyres?

    nairnster

Of course i thought of that, but i am trying to avoid buying something if i dont need it.

    Am not asking about wood.

Does sealant and the rim tape not weigh anything nowadays?

    No he hasnt.

The specialized factory team is now just Troy Brosnan (unless they sign someone else).

Specialized are now supplying bikes to pure racing (Bruni, Vergier and Iles) who used to be supplied by Lappiere. They will be known as the Specialized Gravity Team.

Lol, g9 halogens are a pain sometimes too.

We are down to just one in our light fitting in our rental, as there is simply no room to get your fingers in to pull the bastard things out.

I havd ordered some rubber hose in the hope i can push that over and it will grip enough, if that fails, new light fitting with non bastard bulbs

My fiancée and I live in Inverness, i am definitely in a job i dislike, but there are not many options unless you want a couple of part time jobs, or to work in the care sector.

We are looking to do the opposite and move back to England.
