Was there for practice today. Still very pedally, and i missed one of the off trail centre sections on stage 5 as it wasn’t taped to make you turn onto it. Apparently the tape must have snapped, but there was none there whatsoever, so someone must have also tidied it up.

Seemed very quiet, i guess race day will be busier.

My car broke down on way back to Inverness, so going to miss raceday unfortunately

Apart from an email confirming they have willingly taken my money, i have had no other correspondence about the race this weekend.

So where do i register etc? Is it normal to have to guess?

    Front Forks

I think it should be front fork. Unless of course your rig is decked out with some enduro specific suspension tune using two forks.

Its more of an issue with someone befriending a vulnerable teenager on facebook. Something doesnt smell right about him (a lot of his friends are 17 to 18 yr old girls in a different (particular) part of the UK to him), he is late 20s. He is claiming to be a paramedic, but he doesnt come up in the HCPC register online.

Is it Matt LeBlanc or Joey from friends presenting?

Too many british references to remind us they have a Murican presenting.

Filming style is the same. I echo the previous comments, too much like old top gear, but without the presenters who made that good imo.

So is the head angle 65.5 or 66.5. States both on the website.

I dont think you can fit one of these if you have a tapered fork steerer?

I have a zs44/ec44 headset currently with a tapered steerer. Is it possible to use one of the slackerizers?

The sizing is weird on them imo.

According to measurements and size charts, i should be in a medium. Went to LBS, i couldn’t get the medium over my knees. Large fit perfectly, so comfy i still had them on after 2 hour ride and a 50 mile drive home, and had forgotten to take them off.

Well what if you dont want to give Halfords your email address? I was under the impression that you sometimes required a receipt for warranty issues etc?

If thats not the case then fair enough, but i dont agree with only being able to get a receipt if you give them an email address.

Was gonna say, it used to be the case it was just first come first served with a bike.

As an update to this, I went with Flow Ex rims in the end, but after two weeks got told there delivery of rims was delayed. I changed the order to Ryde Edge 26 rims.

Absolute bitch to get the maxxis tyres on – as in 4 hours bitch, with thumbs still red the next day.

Second ride out, got a pinch flat and dreaded having to replace the tube, it ended up being a piece of piss, the beads must have stretched.

Anyway, difficult to photo wheels, but here they are on the bike anyway.

There is also this in the FAQs

You must submit your team to score points. Once your team is complete you can submit it. Your team will not start scoring, or appear in a Mini-League, until you have submitted your team. If you enter and complete your team before the transfer deadline ends at 09:30 on 9 April 2016 BST your team will be auto submitted at this time.

So bearing in mind it says your team can only appear in a mini league once submitted, how come so many of us have not scored points despite our teams appearing in the mini well before Saturday.

Chainrings, grips, two different sets of wheels – absolutely no problems in any area.

Recrnt wheels were meant to be flow ex on Switch hubs, stock was delayed, and they kept me up to date every step of the way. Great IMO.

    Thats cool then.

So a bar mount and a helmet mount should probably do then.

    Thanks for the help guys.

I am pretty sure the new (possibly failed) MOT invalidates the previous one.

There are lots of nice airfix kits in 1/72. Many are new toolings, including the Hurricane.

They build into decent models. Just do somd research before buying to see how old the kit actually is.

Yeah just internet research and photos etc. You have to exaggerate them a little i think on models, or they wouldnt be that visible. Didnt really do any thus winter, but am in thr process of an SR71 Blackbird.

More than you think, i was surprised at what makesit easier and helps make better models.

What subject matter are you going to model?

I make 1/72 (for space) aircraft.

Yep. Ordered handlebar on wednesday. Nothing until saturday when i got an email confirming dispatch and delivery on Monday….except Parcelforce still dont have the parcel, and tracking just shows as advised.

Delivery time was always one of their strong points. Now price isnt necessarily any less, and delivery is no quicker, cant see any reason they would continue to get my business over other online retails.

The merge with Wiggle makes me even more doubtful i will buy from them much in the future.
