I would ask them to put on something that matches the spec of the original fork – 150mm etc, and for them to absorb any cost difference. If it’s lower spec, for them to agree to replace it with the correct fork when they receive it.
If they are not willing to do either, ask them why they think you should still buy from them.
At full price with a 2 year warranty, it works out at £6 a month. If anything goes wrong in the 2 years, then hopefully warranty will be good. If at the end of the 2 years it is sloppy etc, just buy a new one. That’s my plan anyway. Seems a no brainer.
Fitted one to my Escarpe last night. Quality seems excellent for the price.
I went from one of the Mk1 RSP Plummets, and this feels a nicer quality. Looks quite premium for the price IMO too.
I guess he had it listed as immediate payment required. Obviously immediate to the buyer is when they are first able to pay following auction end.
I suspect the seller didnt get as much as he wanted (well we know he didnt) and as the payment wasnt made as soon as the auction ended, he relisted. All IMO of course, but seems dodgy and i think he seller took advantage of the wording.
Agreed, but reverse that. I haven’t been to a museum in years, but I guess some of my tax goes towards them. Can the beard history lot really expect the general population to fund their museum hobby.
The machine at one of my local spots has been ‘not in use’ for months now. Which IMO shows how much Forestry Commission Scotland value the income from parking charges.
I also don’t understand why some FCS locations I ride do have a charge, and others don’t. It seems to correlate with making bikers pay at predominantly mtb forests, but don’t make walkers pay where the trails are an even split of usage.
Fair play for spending all that time ‘sorting things out’, but it seems a bit pointless some of it, as when you start riding like a 160mm bike should be ridden, and on the terrain where you need that travel, stone chips etc will just happen too often.
I would agree with having to do laps being a bit off putting. I feel like I am riding the same short trail over and over again, which of course I am. So not enough variety perhaps?
2000 passat 2.0 petrol 158k, bought just over a year ago for £100, new tyres and a fuel filter, and 2 MOTs later with a cost of £123, its running nice.
