    Thank you.

I have several in the stash, but will need to buy paint, glue etc as it’s all a bit old and dried up now. Have an incomplete Italeri SR71 in the cabinet that basically just needs decals finishing and then some weathering.

Once winter kicks in again, which won’t be long haha, I will see about getting that complete to see if I get the bug back

I warrantied one after 20 months for rotation like that and the fact the head of the post was creaking.

I took a refund in gift vouchers at CRC as I had already bought a one up as a replacement.

I’D be giving it a wide berth.

Sounds like the previous seller didn’t know what it was either.  Smells of dubious origin to me.

Morning ride at Culloden this morning. Stopped at 11am to think about those who had walked over this land and died at the Battle of Culloden, as well as all who have sacrificed throughout history.

£140 now I think so even better.

I went full enduro with a functional tube wrapped around the stay and held in place with reusable zip ties.

If I need to put a tube in my tireless tyres I can take it off and use it. ;)

There are much better looking choices than an old inner tube nowadays. I suppose it depends on if you care about form/function.

Superstar and exotic both spring to mind.

Well. They are black niner forks.

    Unless you specified original black.

Perhaps you could have asked him for details of how they were painted etc?

    Recommend what I have.

Cotic Bfe.   Climbs much better than you would expect, stable and fast on the downs, but still nimble enough elsewhere. Running 150mm fork on mine

There was definitely a shelf on mine too and if assembled correctly there is no way it would be able to rotate separately to the bar clamp.

Bolts are m4.  I ordered some stainless ones from eBay for a couple of quid.

I went for some Truvativ Jerome Clementz Carbon bars to replace my easton haven alu and I live the feel of them.

Can’t remember if the figures are the same as what you are are after though.

Is that the same Crawford who appeared back in MBUK back in the day?

Current BFe owner here.  I replaced a 130/150 full sussed with it and love it.  I went for a medium, at 5’10, which made it longer than what it replaced but not too long.

It’s incredibly confidence inspiring and I have smashed some PBs set on the full sussed with it.  It just wants to hold speed, but at the same time is definitely still maneouverable as it’s not super long.  I run mine with a 150mm fork, sagged a little bit more and have had no pedal strike issues on it.

Based on owner comments and reviews, i doubt you would be dissapointed by either.  If you like customing and changing components, perhaps building the BFe makes more sense.  If you want it now, gwt the Whyte.

Didn’t realise they only used 30 second gaps.

I hope the footage is going to get better.  Into the top 20 women and all we see is them roll off the start, then pick them up over 3 minutes down the track, for the last 10 or 15 seconds.

Isn’t the correct answer Sam Hill?

I would like Minaar to win as he has been doing it for so long and yet remains competitive with all the new bloods coming to the fore.  Realistically i think this may be his last real chance at the Worlds.

Running one up front on a Ryde 26mm ID rim.

To be honest it’s no bigger than the Bonty Xr4 2.35 it replaced.

@honourablegeorge It does. Have one fitted to my set of cranks.

    Make sure it’s the F30018

Great cranks and a bargain.  You can fit a self extractor to them though.

Whilst I agree that expecting to Get some water from them was a bit of a stretch, I also find it hard to believe that they took only enough water to share it out evenly to the amount of runners participating in the event.  So not giving some didn’t really serve a purpose either.

Also is MR doing this free?  I didn’t realise you could run and event and get them to do this kind something. Is that a normal thing, just out of jnterest.

You say that but that’s your opinion.

Since a crash two years ago where a broken wrist was missed by a&e and pre existing shoulder problems I often experience pain.  I have tried loads of grips, different bars etching and the pain is still there at one level or another.  If this helps me enjoy my biking more without being in pain hours after I figure it’s worth a shot.

Ahh great. Thanks for that.  I had been looking on their own website and they didn’t have any dealers listed for the UK.

**** it, ordered. They have a money back guarantee if you don’t like them.

Nearly all uphill means some isn’t.

I have had some strange speed readings on mine. Like a 69 mph top speed on a route where my too speed is normally about 25mph as it’s nearly all uphill.

I found this happened more on days where it was the first time I used the bike for a while.  When I am riding it every day it’s not happening.

There have also been 2 or 3 firmware updates recently so perhaps that has sorted it.   Is you firmware up to date?

Explored some trails around Inverness . Some nice short sections which then just end in a mess of branches and no trail

I remember advice of putting a penny or other correctly sized coin inside the grip before sliding it on to stop this happening. I always did it when i started bike tinkering as a teenager.

I think the father is looking to take Trek to court looking at how he states this is from normal operation and it being in America.
