Hard reset appears to have worked. Thanks for the input.

I use tech 2s with I spec 2 XT 11 speed. I just used a clamp ring from a bar grip. It works fine with no faff or expense

So WHY are cranks available in different lengths?

For me its about simplicity and ease of maintainance. Had a few ht’s and decided to buy an Orbea Orcam fs which was a fantastic bike to ride but required two bearing changes through the winter months.
Back to ht now in the form of a Spesh Carve Pro and loving my riding more than everer!

Ive held a couple of KOM’s one on Cannock Chase where the gps was obviously very very confused and one I created myself. For me now using Strava is all about beating myself, not beating others cause I dont stand a chance 🙂

I rode one of the burnt orange colored ones at the neck too. Must admit that with the exception of the Trek pro call it was the nicest bike I rode there.

I had one and it worked well once set up. I used a brake cable noodle over the lever and cable and dirt ingress was never an issue and it looked 100 times better than using an old inner tube. Only criticism is that compared to a reverb and gravity droppers the return is very slow.

I fitted my I spec 2 shifter with x2 brakes using the lockring off a lock on grip. Works great and cost nothing

Nothing will stop a determined thief. While riding recently we found a hardened chain with padlock still locked at the side of the road. The chain had been cut with an angle grinder.
However you can increase the chances of getting your bike back by uv marking, tamper proof stickers etc.

I have my Hope X2’s for sale because I wanted to buy some M8000’s.
I’ve never had a bad set of Shimanos and I’ve had few sets of Deore/Slx.
Think I’ll keep my Hopes now though because aside from the length or shape of the lever they’re ok for me and my riding.

I’m experiencing similar problems when back pedalling in the 2 largest cogs (11-42) with a 38t zee chainset.
Ive spent a good few hours trying to get it right today worried about riding it tomorrow but everything else about the setup works fine so I’m just gonna ride it and see how it goes. Might order the Sram chain and the front ring spacers

Hi Matt I’m not buying mate but swopping my road bike for it.

No Gnar as its pictured in the garden and I’m banned on medical reasons from any riding. Sprayed up by yours truly and running 35mm rubber.

What length is your stem?
Short stems on road bikes tend to cause very excitable steering and become unstable the faster you go.

Dirty rider Im not so sure about your post as I’m running Ultegra 6800 shifters with a 5700 front mech without issues?

They arent loose at all its just when putting weight on them when stationary they move downward.

3 rear lights in various modes and 3 front lights in various modes.
usually 2 each direction on the bike and 1 each direction on my helmet.
can you have too many lights?

dont use an airsoft they arent up to the job and woukd cause unnecessary suffering to the quarry.

At that price you couldnt really get better than a secondhand HW95k. Break barrel but with a fantastic trigger and accuracy potential.

I heard there are known problems with the ecu’s which could be causing the problem. Ford may not acknowledge this but I know 2 people with 2010 Ford Mondeo 2l diesels who have had this problem.
