Definitely separate car and house keys. I always thought it was a terrible idea having having these together. If you lose your keys you’re really stuck but if you lose or lock one lot inside you always have somewhere to go. Forgot my house keys the other day so went for a drive and got some shopping till the other half got home. Also have a key bowl in the kitchen.

No requirement to provide sick pay apart from government funded statutory sick pay. I’m a generous,responsible employer in a very small business and have 2 very happy employees on better than living wage but I really don’t get why anyone would feel entitled to large amounts of sick pay. It would cripple a small business. But I understand that large firms might offer it as part of a package for executive types along with other perks.

M and s are brilliant for £10 meal for two. Favourite is a whole marinated chicken you roast in a bag, side, lovely puddings including things like a whole apple or key lime pie and a bottle of wine. Amazing value. Must be a loss leader.

Jambalaya there is a weed elder tree growing in the hedge which I was going to get out but now I’m letting it grow to in fill and am also going to grow an evergreen climber through it to fill in the holes that were made these will all be far more vigorous than the original hedge and they know not to touch my hedge again but no apology just sheepishness.

This really boils my blood my neighbours did this to my hedge. Was sitting in my kitchen having breakfast and see a man with a chain saw suddenly appear on top of my hedge and chopping a massive chunk out the middle of it to about 5ft. I rushed out and told him to stop he said they hired him to do it and thought it was their hedge (it’s clearly in line with my house/boundary) It will never grow back as it is a conifer and he cut down into old wood. Ps was not particularly high and was a slow growing conifer so totally out of order but the fact they didn’t speak to me first and see if I wouldn’t mind reducing the height a bit. Absolute ####’s

That should’nt happen with a new mower on dry grass. Can you ask advice at the shop you bought it? But yes check the shute to the box is clear and the height is correct for the length of grass.

A pool and hot tub please. Annecy is lush but we go there for a couple of days chilling out before our week of awesome alps riding with bike village about 1.5 hours from annecy in les arcs area.

I got very very excited when I discovered the carre foure in Moutier has a freshly made sushi counter with people of Japanese origin actually making the sushi. How come they get yummy fresh sushi in the mountains miles from the sea but on the south coast of England our supermarkets offering is confined to cooked tuna or smoked salmon. Where do you earn 30k as a bin person?! Ours are pretty good and take everything I put in whether bagged or not. Occasionally put my bin back next door but that’s hardly a big deal. We get weekly bins and fortnightly recycling but I’d rather it was the other way round.

Some laws are wrong. I prefer to use my judgement about what I think is right and wrong. Laws are a useful thing to control society but morals and common sense are equally useful. Laws are good to follow if you have none of the above so maybe it’s best if cycling weakly sticks to obeying every law ever written to be on the safe side and stay holier than thou. No not glyphosate! That is a weed killer and should only be sprayed on weeds and not all over a patio it will not clean dirt away and will just be washed into the drains if you pressure wash it. This kind of inappropriate use is why this product is appearing in too high quantities in water courses and could lead to it being banned.

Had the op end of Feb after years of trouble. My job involves power tools all a lot! You will probably have the injection first as if this works it’s indicates that the problem is the carpal tunnel and not higher up.They sorted me out for several months at a time but you can only have 3 max then it’s surgery. Was quite shocked how disabled I was immediately after surgery. Couldnt even tie my laces. Driving after 2 weeks, very gentle cycling after a month (Road riding on my mountain bike) a month off work too. Now my hand is nearly 100% and i’m off to the alps next week. Don’t rush the recovery though.
