<span style=”color: #444444; font-size: 16px; background-color: #eeeeee;”>But that suits, a text, phone call or as soon as I see her it all goes away immediately.</span>

    I remember that feeling.

Maybe quite a common feeling but heightened in intensity for you personally due to past experience and/or other underlying anxiety issues? Can you voice these feelings to her at a time when you are both happy and relaxed and have all day or weekend together? If too early days to speak to her openly then talk to a good friend but ultimately take a deep breath and keep busy with friends when you’re apart. If it’s meant to be long term then it will happen but you can’t rush it.

When I start writing a reply the first few letters of everything on the left side of the page disappear off the edge of the screen (Android mobile) and swiping does not bring it back over and the start of the submit button is missing.

I didn’t mind the dubbing after the first few mins I got used to it. Watched the go whole series on my mobile phone over the Christmas hols in the US and really enjoyed it. Thought it was going to be too similar to ST at the start but then it went it’s own way.

How can a ham and cheese sandwich be more green than just a ham or cheese sandwich? Surely a veggie sandwich eg humus or egg would be even greener?

I have joined a gym with a pool and going there for some vigorous exercise and then relaxing steam spa etc 2 or 3 times a week is helping with energy and mood and meaning I don’t feel too guilty if I don’t get out on my bike in this horrendous weather.

Often an m and s meal for 2for tenner but they didn’t have it in this weekend so settled for chicken pie and dauphinous pots and kale. I did make it last 2 nights after reading that half a pie contains 99% of my daily fat allowance 8O

I enjoy a week in the sun with my mum every few years. She gets on the first beer before I do. 11am is the record!

Just had 2 days there over Christmas. Most has already been mentioned but I enjoyed seeing grand central station and then walk out and right outside is the chrysler building. Go into the lobby also!

Foodie highlight for me was getting dim sum in China town from a really authentic place. Mostly Chinese people eating there, no menu, trolleys of strange and wonderful items going around the tables. Cheapest meal we had also. Joy Luck Palace but before 1pm is best.

Just finished it…well it was background noise that barely held my attention. I’ve honestly never seen a show that took me from awe and intrigue in series one through to really feeling involved with the characters, suspense, tension, horror, totally addicted to couldn’t care less and what a load of absolute crap. It’s been ruined and can’t see me bothering with the second half of the series as there are so many other better things to watch.

The South downs, cows in a field, the Chattri (Indian war memorial) and miserable grey skies/rain so think I will enjoy the view from inside today!

I’ve switched to loose leaf tea due to finding out tea bags have plastic in. Wondered why they never rotted in my compost properly. As my compost goes back on my veg patch and borders it seems worthwhile. I was surprised how little choice there is for loose tea in shops though. Asda had Yorkshire tea only and is prefer to buy something fair trade. My local health/ethical food shop only had one choice which came in a tiny pack half the size of the same brand of tea bags for the same money. Any suggestions on where to buy loose tea at a good price?

If you dislike it so much why don’t you get in and cook something else before the chicken gets put in? Must say though if you don’t like roast chicken someone must be doing something wrong…

Looks like I’m working class then. Dirty outdoor job so no point in the morning and being outside is enough to wake me up.

Why do you need a shower before bed? Unless of course you’re newly dating obviously. 1 shower or bath a day here.

Cinnamon girl I’ve not made it yet but the raw ingredients will be stored in the larger recyclable bottles they come in. Mostly it’s glass bottles of oils. I think it requires heating. The instructions are in the link I sent you. It’s a project for me next rainy day off.

with all those raw ingredients you need to get hold of I wonder how eco that actually is. It’s not like coconut oil is a locally grown product.

I already buy coconut/olive/sunflower oil for cooking with (all which come in recyclable containers)and was more trying to reduce plastic waste than make locally grown soap! I will purchase the other ingredients bulk so making a years worth or more at a time. Normal hand-wash has a long list of non locally sourced ingredients anyway but I suppose I could use rape oil instead to keep it local.

Cinnamon girl. This is the link he sent me for the method:http://chickensintheroad.com/house/easy-homemade-liquid-soap-shampoo/

    His recipe is 190g water
    Lye-KOH 90% pure 108g
    Castor oil 100g
    Coconut oil 100g
    Olive oil 200g
    Sunflower oil 100g

It is a yellow liquid and it turns into a white foam as it comes out of the dispenser. I’m going to try adding lime oil as a fragrance but he had his plain.

Choosing products with less packaging or recyclable packing. Making my own hand wash to fill a reusable dispenser so I don’t have to keep throwing away the plunger that comes in those bottles. My dad does this and has sent me the recipe.

Eat less meat and be more strict about only buying higher welfare meat or local game.

I get sore hips after 8 or so miles. I’ve been gradually building up longer walks this past year and my best was 30ish miles over 24 hours and was shattered after that. Managed 15 miles round New York recently and was sore the next day. I think it’s a great compliment to riding for exercise and you do tend to see and hear more.

It’s a 56 plate. Can’t remember literage off the top of my head but I love the van compared with my transit. Absolutely no rust. Everything in great working order for an old van and very nippy to drive. Low mileage though at 66000.

I’m a self employed gardener. Previously I had a medium wb transist and two of us worked out of that. Now I have a Renault trafic short wb which is a great size for just me and also much nicer to drive. I use it for bike trips to Wales etc. It’s pretty good on fuel for a 10 year old vehicle. Insurance is only about 300 but that’s lots of years driving and no claims. 200ish Road tax.

Re waste carriers licence. Do get one but for green waste only it it free from the environment agency. Do not pay someone online to do it for you this is a company making money for filling out a form.

Got an OTTY with the trial period and free pillows. Best bed I’ve ever had. Only problem is when I stay at other peoples houses or away on holiday I struggle to get comfortable as I miss the amazing comfort of my bed at home.

Ha ours was black lab too. She’d not been canoeing apart from we did a test run in the UK before we went as we booked a 3 day canoe trip so thought we better try her out. She got used to it pretty quickly and didn’t capsize us although she is only 20kg.

Think vet was about 50 euro. We had her off lead apart from in towns/near traffic and had no issues.

We took our labrador to France for a week for the first time last August. I found France to be incredibly dog friendly. More so than UK in terms of accommodation. There were so many other people with dogs too and it was a nice way to get chatting to people. We were in the Dordogne camping for 3 nights, b and b, then a hotel in sarlat and then in the Lot region in an auberge. All the restaurants we tried were happy with dog inside and out. She came with us canoeing, hiking and visiting some caves.

Our only gripe was the cost of the vets to administer the wormer so if you can research ahead of time and find somewhere cheaper it might be worthwhile.

You could say the same thing about loads of things. People like/love different things. Not wanting to go without something for a month doesn’t mean it’s a problem.

I did it a few years ago and noticed absolutely no difference in health or weight so not going to bother again as it was hard going and boring when there were social gatherings at the pub or someone’s birthday it just felt like denying myself a bit of pleasure for no reward.

I dont drink a lot anyway. Maybe 4 pints of cider or a bottle of wine per week max. I am however going to do no mid week drinking for probably the rest of the winter just to make sure there are plenty of alcohol free days and make sure the amount doesn’t creep up.

That sounds amazing and I do have a slow cooker and all those ingredients already (black treacle not molasses). When you say on the woodburner is that a special one for cooking on or just sat on top? Does this cook differently than on the hob?
