New to Zwift and got a problem I can’t find an answer to.
My set-up is a Wahoo Kickr, with a mountain bike on it – so mountain bike gearing. I want to ride in group road rides but find that with the MTB gearing, I cannot get enough power out to keep up. I have turned the feature that makes it harder in settings up to 100%, which helps a bit but not enough: On the flat, I’m spinning out in top gear finding it impossible to keep up with groups.
Is there a way to set up so that I can start off with more resistance on rides (ie pre-loading my Kickr in some way?) so that my work in any one gear has to be higher, and then this would translate to speed?

Just as I was reading this thread, my wife said she was having a strange day and she felt like she was having an “outer body experience”. I corrected her, but she insisted that this is exactly what she meant…

“The overnight period” as used by weather forecasters. As in “Rain will become heavier during the overnight period” What’s wrong with just “overnight”?

Not me, my poor wife was persuaded as a child by her sister that she could ride her new space hopper down the stairs. Didn’t end well!

Update for anyone who is interested.
I went ahead and converted the Shimano RS11 with 21 mm Stans Rim Tape and Tubeless Valves (btw TINAS, I want to keep my Ultegras for summer, they would get trashed if I used them over winter up here leaving me nothing for the nicer months). One possible issue I hadn’t thought of is that the rear rim is asymmetric, which means all the spoke holes are very close to the internal corner of the rim. I used 2 wraps of tape, and made sure that one of the wraps went up the side of the rim wall a little to ensure a good seal at the spoke holes. Fitted Hutchison Fusion 5 All Season TLR tyres with Stans fluid. Tyres went on rims fine, inflated ot 90 psi without issue and held pressure without any drop over 5 days before I rode on them. Since then, I have done a few 100 km with no issues. Quite happy!

Can’t see tubeless tape being an issue?

The area most likely to fail is the rim/tyre interface. These rims have a ‘lip’ that would hold the bead and if tubeless tyre was snug enough, can’t see how it could blow off? I do understand the concerns though – hence the question!

Guessing the frog, chimpanzee, sign on the witches broom, the indian chief
, the letter to the zoo and the yellow and blue books are something, based on exclusions people have listed already (doll, beach ball, bagpuss etc).

Also the holes in the bedsheet?

Got to get 9 of the kids and 2 of the best sellers. I think the doll and the beachball must be 2 of them on the kids page

On the bestsellers page I’m sure the sack of grain is something? No idea what the other one I am missing is – something to do with the hill, rocks, tree, path – or is it the scroll? I have got the 2 associated with the girl and not sure if the scroll is part of that

Well the update on my TNT delivery is that for the 3rd day of promised delivery by 18:00 it is now back at the local depot. No explanation, no-one available to ask, no forewarning that they might not deliver today after all. I’ve had the odd glitch with other carriers, but nothing like this. They are now the worst I have ever dealt with by miles

My current bottom of the heap choice are TNT. Now on my 3rd day of promised delivery by 18:00. Each time cancelled due to issues shortly after the deadline passed with no explanation. Just over 1 hour to go until today is missed too. I am not hopeful..

I just got a new one form a ‘Polling Expert’, telling my why Polls are so important and to be trusted, and based on that basis if I wanted to stop Brexit, a vote for the SNP was a waste. The only way to do this was to vote Lib Dem etc. Checking the tiny print at the bottom showed it was a LibDem Sourced production

That’s an interesting idea, Denis! If true it would mean a very large proportion of my neighbours have not been voting…

I think you might be on to something wwpaddler. I’ve voted every time since I was eligible to vote, but never given any details of my political views to anyone in that type of role. I’m not active on social media So I guess the discriminator could be age based

Edinburgh based. Loads of flyers from SNP, Labout, Tories and LibDems none from UKIP, Brexit or Greens. Individually addressed letters to wife and myself from Labour and SNP. Joint letter to (Mr and Mrs M) from Tories, which really annoys me. It’s as if we are a single voting entity.
From my other thread on this topic, I expect my immediate neighbours have a different spread.

Hmmm, never gave any information out in previous elections to canvassers or pollsters, and not registered with any parties. Maybe it is as simple as my car and the state of my garden relative to neighbours!

..and make sure the plug is behind the tile before putting the screw in. if it is actually in the tile, you run the risk of the tile cracking as the plug expands as you tighten the screw

be careful though… Back in the 70s my dad had a beautiful yellow car (I know) I was given the job of t-Cutting it as he was about to sell it. I set to work with enthusiasm. there was a stubborn dark shadow on the drivers door about the size of a 50p. The more I worked on it, the bigger it got. Once it got to about the size of an A4 sheet of paper, I consulted him and the conclusion was that it was the base coat showing through as the paint got thinner and thinner…

By way of possible reassurance, as well as being a component of AirCon systems, this chemical is also used as a propellant in metered dose inhalers, for the likes of asthma etc. This means that people with such conditions are deliberately breathing it in several times a day, every day for years. OK arguably he may have had a temporary higher dose, but if all the checks at the time were OK, then I do not think he needs to worry, just follow through with any medical advice he has been given.

Hmmm, the spigots are different, but I have spacers and these are fitted fine, in any case, they were on before with no issues. Nuts tightened up in correct sequence. I have not however reduced pressure or changed storage with rotation. I’m resigned to getting them balanced again on Monday.

I stored my own wheels in exactly the same way, swapped them over at same time, and mine are fine. So it’s not all bad!

    I’ll assume Stan’s comment is a joke.. 😊

Vader, hadn’t seen a bulge but will check again
Bsims, stored at pressure they came off the car at, on their sides. Why would you need to reduce pressure or rotate? The pressure will be less off the car than with the car sitting on them?
