Wouldn’t they bulge or explode? The pressure is higher than carbonated soft drinks, no?

Thats why there was a cry of “bollocks to this idea” by folk in the industry, 50 psi or 3.5 bar in a plastic bottle with a plastic cap would lead to explosions

They are stronger than you would think. I had a ghetto tubeless inflator made out of a 2L soft drinks bottle with the normal cap and it could take at least 120 psi no problem. May have been more prone to eruption if bumped by something pointy though… but left on its own, I wouldn’t worry about it (unless it was under my pillow)

    Dr Who on TV?

Seriously though, could be a sound she doesn’t like that you can’t hear coming from TV? Turn it off and see if she calms down

Anyone use the Brewferm party star deluxe for 5L mini kegs? Just tried for first time and having some issues.
    1. When tap is open, there’s a leak of beer from under the base of the tap (between tap and keg). It’s not between the bung and drawtube, it’s after it comes out. Stops as soon as tap is closed. I’m tempted to take it off and check the draw tube is tightly screwed on
    2. Everything so far is very cloudy. Is this because first draws are all gunk at bottom, and might I expect this to start flowing clear after 1-2 pints?

Re the Spike, years ago I checked various appliances to see what used the most (besides the obvious electric fire, tumble drier etc). Kettle. toaster and iron were unexpectedly high contributors. I’d imagine electric shower would be too, but I do not have one to check

Maybe I am not frequenting the ‘right’ news sites, but Putin has been very quiet for the last few days compared to previously? Whereas he was making statements and speeches, now it all seems to be representatives that are presenting opinions and on news channels

I’ve had to turn that briefing off, I cannot a bear another minute of that bumbling oaf stuttering and stumbling his way through it. I’m sure he’s now praying for more escalation in Ukraine as further distraction

On a lighter note, I noticed yesterday, and again today, is his hair developing a greenish tinge? Some kind of dye disaster?

Maybe one of them with nothing to hide will have enough of a conscience to leak more of the actual details in it
EDIT: Wishful thinking – just saw they cannot access info about anyone other than themselves

Almost everywhere you will want to go to will have a main road close by, and these are all linked by tunnels to avoid the more interesting ‘tourist routes’. I’m amazed the island hasn’t crumbled into the Atlantic it has so many holes bored through it!
But the other roads are nice and if you want to get to some places you will need to do at least some steeper routes for a little bit. Best advice we got was to make sure we did not get an underpowered car for this! We coped fine

I’m afraid it is likely to be as simple as ‘Tory’. Other much more appropriate answers are unlikely to fit with answers to other clues

In a similar vein, Claudia Winkelman’s wishing people ‘Enormous Luck’ as a superlative of Good Luck and ‘Huge Congratulations’ etc really, really gets under my skin 🤬🤬🤬

I’m awash with relief that England lost the first match and we will not have to endure the media banging on about a possible England Grand Slam they way they do every year

I think there is enough there to cause him more problems (failure of leadership, things happening that shouldn’t have been allowed, other things escalating beyond what was reasonable). Also comparing their claim to be so hard-working and put upon into context with other parts of the country (eg health workers) is a good thing

It’s crazy – Sunak won’t investigate the fraud over the Covid Business loans because the cost would exceed what might be recovered, but the Met will prioritise investigating £100 fines for Civil Servants over what everyone else might consider the bigger picture of Government accountability

I’d love to see the Mirror approaching the release of photos like an advent calendar, with Christmas eve being a group photo of a pissed Bojo and mates at one of the ‘gatherings’ holding up a newspaer with the date on it to remove all doubt about when it was, and flicking the Vs to everyone

    @makkag

Anyway felt better again but now I am getting really fatigued in the day randomly and far more lethargic towards everything including work.

The weird thing is I can kind of get through it or avoid it by working out .. can feel ratshite but put my runners on and go do a fast 5k off the bat, Seems worst early afternoon – Is this just me getting older at 43 or is anyone seeing the same sort of thing?

That’s interesting. I’ve felt like that since my first vaccine. Really tired and lethargic, particularly early afternoon, but feel great if/when I lift myself and go for a ride/race (Zwift/IRL – doesn’t matter). My times good as well when I do. Then afterwards I feel wrecked again. Certain I have not had Covid (WFH with Mrs and neither of us go anywhere, take regular LFTs, don’t know anyone directly who has had Covid, etc). I’m 60 so been putting it down to age and just being worn out with all of the restrictions

Thanks, all. Rolled back to the earlier version and now desperately trying ot catch up with all the work I’ve missed yesterday afternno while the update installed and then getting it removed today. I’ll get on to some of the suggested fixes later, but it strikes me that to know if they have worked, I’ll need to do the install of the update again, check it out, and then uninstall if it can’t be fixed? A job for a rainy weekend, I think! But I will give it a go as soon as possibile and see what happens
Thanks again for all the help :)

So, after putting off this update fir months, last night Windows decided enough was enough and I’m right back where I started. Except now I know how to get back to before this problematic 20H2 update.
No fixes seem to have been applied that make it work, and I can’t identify which driver might be the problem.
Any ideas on how to identify the problem driver (if this is what it is)?

I’m in again, solo, carried over from last year’s entry. Think this is my 10th one. Feeling the least fit than I have felt at any point in the last 18 months!

Thanks, guys – its not the tyres I’m concerned about though. I have many many non tubeless tyres running this way. It’s is there something about the rim that could be an issue? Again, I don’t think so – I am fairly sure I have done it to other rims older than this which I do not think were designated ‘tubeless’ friendly, but I do not have any to check now.
