    It’s almost that simple.

You can convert media to a new container without needing to encode – check out makeMKV (this is free). This gets the media on the machine.

Then use Plex as the media player to play the MKV once they are ont eh machine. Plex is a great media manager and is far better than itunes (you get the covers, plot summary etc that you can browse through).

Pretty simple really – storage will be an issue but it sounds like it’s only a few movies.

All free software. Look on http://www.plexapp.com/ for guides

Boxster – 40 to 60k miles (thats not a million miles) for up to 10k, but look out for RMS issues

S2000 could be a bargain, but are a little snappy in the wet

    If Z3 is out is a Z4?

Fiat Barchetta for something a little different

350z and TT as others have said

Elise – cheap as chips to run a K-series car, but she might not find it comfortable, don’t be put of by reliability I’ve done 100k in a K-series with no real issues. I camped for a week in mine, but you have to get creative with packing.

Yes it’s easy, but you must have cash and be 100% decisive as well as being able to assure yourself the car it OK in that time.

A dealer wants his car on the forecourt for the minimum time so will always want to sell that day, saying you’ll think about it is a dealers nightmare.

If the car is prepped there is no reason not to.

I’ve done it 3 times, and despite what others have said it normally leads to the biggest discount. No substitute for telling a dealer it’s cash today if he shifts himself – last car I bought was a 20% discount, but it was month end and he wanted a sale. Car supermarkets and run of the mill cars there will be less of a margin.

Easiest ones are when they have a car that is not normally their thing – normally a trade in. If it’s say a VW dealer and you’re after a golf then it’s not out of place on the forecourt, so they can afford to sit on it as they know another buyer will be along. A focus at a BMW dealer – much more keen to get shot of it.

You can tell in the first minute or so if they are up for it.

Got to say i’d like to know how or where Hamond managed to get that Subapoo for under 1500 quid

can’t find a bugeye at the moment, but a classic here for closer to a grand:

If it’s a cat D you should be able to find a bugeye for closer to £1500 or a leggy one for that money
