Went a few weekends ago with some mates, first time in about 6 years, and we all really enjoyed it.  Shame about the trees but the riding is still great fun.  The café at Glyncorrwg is a bit basic but compensated for by the huuuuge portions, Afan centre caff and shop are both really good.  Might have lost some trade since BPW opened but both car parks were nearly full on the Sunday.  An hour long scamper round Blue Scar was particularly good fun

Got the latest Toska album on repeat at the moment, absolutely love it

Meshuggah live are a thing of eerie beauty, just need Byzantine to come to the UK

Also got the Xpress2. Brilliant bit of kit lives in the boot of the car with the light board. Doesn’t mark the bike, and very secure.

Panaracer Trailrakers are the only ones I’ve used that clear the really sticky stuff properly. They are quite narrow so don’t get many issues with clearance but can get a bit sketchy

Stayed in a rented cottage with some friends, found a big non stick pan, made a load of porridge for breakfast. Had a slight chickeny tang. Particularly unlucky for my veggie GF. Turns out the pan wasn’t non stick just covered in a welded on layer of chicken soup left by the previous guests. Bleargh

I bought a Chapman Ghost Fret on a bit of a whim a while back and they are excellent guitars and great value. Huuuuuge fun to play and really versatile

BattleTech is occupying far too much of my limited brain space at the moment.  Big stompy robots blowing each other to bits, what could be better

And No Man’s Sky is available on PC

I had three Seat Leon’s on the trot and got an Audi A4 two years ago.  All serviced at the dealer.  Much to my surprise my service costs have dropped significantly with the Audi as the service interval is almost double

The Audi is a much nicer place to be than the Seat, but the initial purchase price was bowel loosening compared to the Leons

Seen them quite a few times and still good, off to the O2 next month. Taking my little bro for his birthday so coughing up for the ticket.

Good fun live, they have learnt to take themselves a bit less seriously than the Load / St Anger years.

The Laney Ironhearts are very good. I’ve got an IRT Studio 15w and a 2×12. Had to buy an attenuator for use at home, even on the 1w setting. Good range of tones and I play mostly metal stuff but it has a great clean channel and loads of IO options. Oh yeah and re-amping, which is like some sort of magic

Still mostly dry and crunchy at 9.30 too, although usual ploughing conditions in places

Got the Fuel hubs. Nice and clicky but be careful taking out the back wheel, if the cassette detaches on the trail you’re screwed. I now carry a thin rubber band to hold the pawls in and a knife to cut it off once the greetings back in place. A bit of glue on the end caps helps

    Ah Aviator

My little bro wrote a game for the BBC B and he got to chose two games from the vault at Acornsoft, one was Aviator the other was some crappy text based adventure game. He did nearly wee himself with excitement when they opened the door of the vault tho 🙂

Yup, Falcon4.0, still playing it after nearly 20 years, with the BMS addon. available on Steam. It has the best dynamic campaign in a combat sim which makes it endlessly replayable

    Steam linky[/url]

    BMS stuff….

Djurgarden, boat trip, meal at Bakfikan, Skansen, National Art gallery, wandering around Sodermalm, Skogskyrkogården, gig at Debaser etc etc.

Get a Stockholm travel card for the days you are there, covers buses, trains, tubes and museums, well worth it.
