They provided the soundtrack to my late teens, which was some time ago, and they are still superb live

1x on an SLX chainset has worked for me for ages. Original bolts and 30t 104 BCD ring in the middle ring position

I went from a Behringer UPhoria interface to a Scarlett 212 v3. The Behringer was really good, but the Scarlett sounds cleaner, is better made and has the “air” toggle. I tried the software but none of it was any better than what I have been using. I’m a long term Reaper user and can’t be arsed to learn a new DAW 🙂

Kirk Revolution, my first, second and third mountain bikes. The first was my 21st birthday present, I was very excited. Two snapped, the other spat its BB threaded insert onto the road. Hateful things. The bog standard steel frame I got as a warranty replacement from Dawes felt amazing in comparison.

@klunk Mansory don’t appear to limit themselves to just producing something that looks like the bastard spawn of an SUV and a Transformer https://www.mansory.com/car/bstn-gt-xi#1

Naked rambler on the Chilterns. We got quite close before it became clear that I had been mistaken about his unflattering choice of flesh tone walking trousers. Fortunately he kept it eyes front as we bid him a cheery hello and sniggered off down the track like a pair of 6 year olds

That is excellent, well done everyone! And thanks Adam for putting it together. Look forward to the next one

@supersessions9-2 if you are using the FX loop out you will need an IR loader in the DAW to makeit sound like a speaker. Again there are loads out there but http://www.igniteamps.com/ do some great free stuff. I suggest in the DAW you have have input – TPA – NadIR as your signal chain. Select an IR that sounds good to you and off you go 🙂

@supersessions9-2 The Cub doesn’t look as though it has a line out so you’ll need to mic it up. I’ve got a Behringer interface and it’s been pretty good. Spend as much as you can on the mic but a Shure SM57 would be a good start. Reaper is excellent and very reasonably priced but try a few and see what suits you best

Just sent mine…..it was surprisingly stressful! I haven’t recorded anything that other people might actually listen to for some time

I have a Behringer UMC202HD, it was relatively cheap but has lots of features, including pad buttons for each input, and good pre-amps

I have a Chapman Ghost Fret Standard.  Its very nice to play.  Wanted an ML1 Pro but got the Ibanez instead.

I now what you mean, I have been consistently unadventurous having two other twin humbucker fixed bridge guitars.  The Ibanez is the most flexible because of the coil tap, I can get a nice Fender-y twang, on those rare occasions I am not stomping away in drop C 🙂

@bazzer I got an Ibanez Iron Label off of Fleabay for 300 quid.  Twin humbuckers, fixed bridge, Wizard 3 piece neck and flamed maple top.  Plays beautifully and if you don’t always need the higher output from the PUs it cleans up nicely with the coil tap.

@countzero were you at the Damnation Festival in Leeds on Saturday then? I missed Vintage Caravan, was looking forward to seeing them.  We made the mistake of watching Crowhurst, the singer looked to have just fallen off the stage when we got there.  A few minutes later he said  “and now for a country song…” we left.

Got my P30Pro a few months back. Haven’t signed up to any of the Huawei bloat ware. The camera is absolutely superb, it’s the main reason I got it. The battery life is two days plus  No issues with Android or any missing Google apps, yet

Having said that I’m not sure I’d get another one. Software is clunky compared with the slickness of Samsung.  Long term android support also a concern.

If you want a great camera there are some good deals around

Wool trilogy by Hugh Howey, good Fallout-esque vault living saga

Osiris Project series by EJ Swift was excellent. Left a lot unexplained which made a refreshing change

Didnt click with the 3 body stuff, might need another go. Found Becky Chambers a bit simplistic

Currently enjoying Children of Ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky

Loads of classics available on Kindle via the SF Masterworks collection, now finally includes Asimov’s Foundation Trilogy
