Then posting pics on here asking people to guess what the sublty-hidden modification might be? At the same time giving pointers to narrow the area of said modification down a bit? Thereby, making a no-so-subtle statement about the modification?

I can understand trying to do a subtle, yet performance-enhancing modification. I can also undrstand folks who want to advertise their big budget modifications/upgrades.

I CANNOT understand someone wanting to spend money on something, trying to disguise it as the original part THEN feel the need to draw folks’ attention to it, so everyone knows what the subtle modification was?

Each to their own, but I think pointless, vainglorious waste of time/money/effort/paint/stickers.

I frickin’ HATE how they{BBC Pundits} arrogantly assume that the big teams will just come good no matter how a game is going. Just a matter of popping on the big subs and Wales will walk it. The meeting is more of a formality required by the rules of the 500 Club in order to allow us to apply for funding. But it’s also an opportunity to hear what members are expecting from the club, in terms of trips, facilities etc. Don’t sweat if you can’t make it{massive commitment to trek up from your neck of the woods on a Monday night!} and we’ll also b loooking at arranging the first official club rides. But seeing as th three founding members ar on the White Watch the dates are likely to suit you too! {in the interest of fairness we will be trying to elect other committee members from the other watches so rides can accomodate all}

On the prospect of joining your Watch, although I’ve been on White Watch for 8 years, never really had much dealings with Hawick, so can’t really tell you who to look out for. I’m sure they’ll be sound though! Look out for Greg Mcleod on the B/W down there, he was my bitch for three years till they fianlly granted his repeated transfer requests. Came to Glentress with us once, with Rugby scrum cap/shinpads/gumshield et al. Total bammer!

That and sell dodgy prescriptions, feel up young lady patients when there was no legitimate reason{“Ok Miss Brown if you could just slip off your undrwear” “But doctor I’ve only come in to have my in-grown toenail looked at”}, share my patients inner-most intimate medical problms with my mates. The usual, you know.

Bike Park was no longer there when we visited last year. 100’s of kms of trails in the area so you won’t go short. Chatel bike park is 3 lifts away and has sh1t loads of jumps and norht shore if that’s what your into.
