Ginger? Really? Need to look out the dye! Not short or pasty or spotty but hopefully will be drunk!

Thanks for all that, some good pointers there! STW delivers again…

    Seriously?

Never noticed it myself, try not to look at other peoples crotches.

    continually self-check themslves

[pedant]no need for the "themselves" in that sentence[/pedant]

You think I'm looking at their crotches? It's kind of hard not to see where their hands are you self-righteous tool. Have you really nothing better to do with your time tonight? Nae luck.

Mate had a link to this shower on his FB page last week, seem to be getting quite a bit of coverage and building a cult folloowing. Maybe you shouldn't encourage it Tribalchief?

Yes they sound as bad as they look for anyone not brave enough to click the link…

They're Adidas not ADDIDAS. And they look like Superstars? Maybe Gazelles, can't quite mak the toe out. Get some scouring powder on them and they'll be white again.

Loving that second pic too Daniel. The light is fantastic and your small companion looks as if he's thinking "I'm not going in there" Which is a great effect as he's facing away from the camera! Bravo!

Are you happy now that your brainchild has reached it's obvious creative and philanthropic zenith with http://www.webuyanycar.com/?

On balance the anti-Tory ones are funnier, less obtuse and less up their own arse. Oh and two of them are real grafitti which is always better than fanboy-generated-web-graffiti. LABOUR WINS!

Yep Si – I've decided to use my new DH bike on uplift days and on the Alpine holidays, so needing a bik with less than 6inch travel for general use. So I'm trying to sell this one. Problem? Never commented on the guy selling the Nomad above? Oh aye that's probably because SC are one of the untouchables on here that the Hive will not criticise.

I've had a pint in his honour today. But NOTHING in comparison to the almighty session that will occur when she goes.

That's the main problem there. Though others argue if you do crash your bars won't need straightening, so you can jump right back on during a race run! A big bail could result in a big fork bill though!!!

Think they're Lyriks? Sounds as if the travel{length} is non-adjustable mate. Maybe a specially produced model for Spciailized? If they were travel-adjust there'd be a travel adjust knob on top of the left leg, as well as incremental markings on the left stanchion legs.

The ref in the scotland game (Clancy) clearly said one more play so I reckon he'd have given a pen

That fanny would have given Wales anything to see them beat Scotland that day.

I usually ride at GT and Innerliethen – today for example – and I really enjoyed Whinlatter. I was there the day the rains came that flooded half of Cumbria in the autumn there, so got a wee bit wet. Didn't spoil our enjoyment – th drive home was hairy though.

    Well worth a visit.

Well i've got a van but you do see loads at uplift/race days? Better make it a sturdy/dear one rather than Halfords cheapest number.

Bridge aid in his resignation statement that his presence in England squad "might prove to be devisive" Very noble son but not half as devisive as that pinchfaced snake who knobbed your bird. Terry will laugh it off and enjoy the fans adulation till he misses another vital penalty.

Then the press can all really let rip…

should we send thebikechain round to see if the milk is backing up at the door?

And mind and check for newspapers/post bulging out of his letterbox.

Like looking after our elderly neighbours. I know TJ is of a certain vintage but he's not that old yet!!!

    Scottish?? with spelling like

    och eiy laddy

? Well two out of three isn't bad. Other than that slip you're a genius. And don't pass it off as a typo mistake in the heat of the moment NAECUNT would ever try and pass "aye" off as "eiy".

    Keep up the good work…

I did actually consider fitting bb without it but thought it must do something? Ah well may just do that.

2 problems with them. It.s annoying to see them when you yourself have to make a reasonable fist of valuing your own stuff to sell. Other folk just stick a quick stealth ad in the bike section where it invariably gets wee bit more attention.
Secondly there's a rule about not paging other users cos it hogs bandwidth. Nothing about these type of posts.

Don't even joke about it. How is it that whenever you try and make an effort it all ends up wrong.

Still the forks are on and I just need some bars, a stem and a chain guide. Funnily enough this O/T night shift should just about cover it. Beaut!

Baking postponed till tomorrow now – an update then maybe. Maybe not.

Oh ye of little faith! Forks done and now donning the peenie for some hardcore baking!

ARRGH as I type just had call from my work offering O/T for the night shift – money i usually get to squirrel away for bikey stuff. she's not answering her phone – it's all gone wrong…

I will with the headset press, should be ok with the baking though, cheers!

    {ps this is all a vain attempt to get back in the good books. I refusd to give M a lift to work this morning in all that horrible sleet and snow cos I didn't want to miss the dlivery of aforementioned forks – she texted me a bit later saying she was soaked, frezing and one of her boots had developed a leak – not good. But the forks look tremend!}
