No twisting from me, if the copper gets scored when stripping the insulation then it creates a weak point and the conductor can snap if it gets bent/moved a few times. Seen it countless times.

I’ve got an F450, self built. Naze32 flight controller running openpilot and a Hitachi action cam Velcro’d underneath. It’s been pretty robust so far and has survived a good few rather bumpy landings!
Once i’ve properly got the hang of LOS flight I’ll try out FPV, it’s great fun :)

Gen 7 Celica all the way! I’ve got a 140 and it’s brilliant, the 190 must be a real hoot!

Had a trot round Golspie in 24dC heat this afternoon. 30mins towards home and it turned to thunder, lightning and torrential rain!

I’m running 4.3.1 just now. Just rooted the device and followed a guide to installing custom ROM’s. Went with katkiss custom ROM, it’s made a huge difference!

I’ve got a 1st gen transformer, they charge from a 12v supply rather than a stock 5v USB charger. I lost mine years ago and had to make my own, was a bit nerve wracking the first time I plugged it in!
Would you consider selling yours for spares? Did any smoke get released before it stopped working? Would have to be mega cheap though to be worth keeping as a backup.
I upgraded the android version last week and its really quick now, got rid of all the annoying lag it’s had since I first got it!

I just got a 7th Generation Celica for £500. £100 to get it mot’d and it’s happily doing 40+ mpg, measured!
    I love old cars :)

“She had been a national leader in education, lauded for improving pupils’ exam performance.”

Her teaching methods must have worked then!
To quote EVH, “I think of all the education that I missed, but then my homework was never quite like this…”

Totally off topic but have you been offered a knee replacement? My Dad has had both knees and a hip replaced after injuring them playing Shinty. He’s literally been given a new lease of life after barely being able to walk with a stick.

I bought a Gen 7 celica a couple of weeks ago, had been parked up for 8 months. New front spring, wheel bearing and a droplink and it passed it’s mot this morning.
£500 all in, car plus not plus the parts O fitted :)

A chap in my class in Primary 7 cycled into the back of a bus. Was showing off and riding no handed while looking to see who was watching.
His whole face was one giant bruise, I can remember what he looked like to this day!

What a brilliant laugh, great trails made even better with the dry dustiness!
My teammate was 2 mins over the 5:30 cutoff so we clocked 7 laps all in.
Hardest thing I’ve ever done on a bike, not much of a racer!

My boys are now 2 and 4, both love our bike trailer and have been in it since 9 months old. Adds a new dimension to biking and helps trainingtraining greatly. When you unhitch the trailer your bike feels like its made from some super lightweight moon metal!

I go riding at 7pm when the kids are asleep. Any days except Monday and Wednesday when the wife goes to gym etc.
Usually get 3 or 4 full weekend days per year to go on mega pedal.

Life will never be the same as it was before but you’ll still have time for your kids and to do things you like.

How would shimano know it’s not their fluid if it’s all leaked out?

I wouldn’t bother with a shotgun, a well aimed garden hose would have most of the cheaper ones plummeting groundwards!

I’ve been learning to quad fly for about 5 months, it’s great fun and very addictive. A healthy dose of common sense is required and should mean no laws are broken.
Unlike my fingernail which is only just starting to grow back, they are definately not toy!

If none of the above offers are suitable then I have a pair of hollowtech Deore cranks for use with square taper BB’s you can have FOC.

I’ve got a 1.6 petrol golf estate, mk4. Bought as a stopgap when my Accord type R ate it’s clutch/g’box.
Handing is soggy, especially compared to my Accord and 205 GTi. Does 40mpg and keeps chugging on reliably. Quiet, spacious and practical but a really dull drive.

    I keep admiring Focus ST170’s…

Both my RSP plummets are still going strong after 15 months and a Scottish Highlands winter. 1 strip/clean each.

Any pics? Could you fit them into steel galvanised trunking? A steel plate inside the partition wall?

Could you get a wee inspection camera for drains and fit it into the downtube via the headtube? Some frames have a hole in the headtube that allows access to the headtube and top tube.

Thanks for the input chaps, I won’t be dumping it anywhere it’s not supposed to go, fear not! The garden hose draining into the foul drain seems like the best plan but ‘Er indoors mentioned wanting a sink at some point so I might have to dig it up and fit 1 1/2 plastic waste pipe anyway. Grr!

I did think it sounded like a bad idea having detergent getting dumped under the soil, just thought I’d ask! Maybe I’ll drain it into next door’s garden… ;)

There are actually 2 rodding points, will one be for waste and the other rainwater? What regs should I be checking? Forgive my ignorance I’m a sparky and therefore dislike water :)

Suzuki Ignis sport, you’ll google it and then scoff! Go drive one, mine was the closest car in terms of fun that I’ve driven since I had an MX5, an absolute hoot! (And got 45mpg on a decent run…)

Why did the customer have cones in the 1st place if he wasn’t a serial space-coner?
Not the sort of thing you just have lying around?

I updated my 2nd gen motog and it takes much longer to open apps and emails etc. Any suggestions anyone? Presume a factory reset will wipe all my (900+!) Work contacts?

Sorry to hear this, cant imagine what you are going through. Makes you realise just how lucky you are not to have things like this happen in your own life.

I think zip do a 6kw version but you’d have to install a dedicated circuit for it and even then I wasn’t that impressed with them.
If you wanted the water hot then the flow rate would drop quite a bit. They were fitted in shops just to fill buckets to clean the floor, they would drive me nuts but everyone has their own opinion of what is acceptable.

Depends on the zize of the cable but its quite possible. The existing cable might not fit the terminals of the oven if it is designed for smaller cables though. Any pics of cable?

Do you mean a zip instantaneous water heater? I’ve fitted a few and found the flow rate to be poor, especially when the weather was cold.
Unless you got one that was bigger than 6kw but you could be looking at rewiring that circuit with bigger cable.

It’s £27 a month for our family at our local council leisure centre. Gym, pool, kids swimming lessons, the whole shebang!
I’ve been going 3 times a week on my lunch break for the last couple of months and have noticed an improvement on my fitness on my usual weekend pedal.
Far better than sitting at work and the Lycra/hottie thing is the icing on the cake!

My X2’S have been great lights and I’ve previously had a great service from Danny at CRG.Unfortunately one of the conductors inside the wee cable joint the feeds the on/off switch has failed. Unable to contact crg I opened the connector and re-soldered it, it’s just outside the warranty period and I needed a light.

Any chance you could post me a new wiring loom? I have the experience and facilities to repair it and it would look much neater than at the moment, wrapped in tape
    Cheers

In 5th year and 6th year we were allowed to choose our Wednesday afternoon activity. The PE dept rubber stamped our request for mtbing and school became fun for one day a week! Being in Ft William, good trails were literally minutes away. Unfortunately a couple of people got found in a pub in town and the whole thing got cancelled.
This was 1996, not sure if health and safety people would allow that these days!

And here is a chap from the year below me at school, a real wtf discovery when I saw his face in the paper!

I’m running a Fox rpl (an rp23 with lockout) on my 2008 stumpjumper. It’s slightly longer than stock brain shock but I can’t tell when riding it.
    Go for it :)
