6 weeks seems to be minimum, from my humble experiences.

I saw V1CKY on a wee red merc coupe some years ago, looked pretty smart.

    Boxcar Willie!

Seriously, I think he’s great and I’m a metal head through and through. Don’t know much other country stuff but I stumbled on Boxcar through my Dad’s country collection.

Try also the Nitty gritty dirt band for some more upbeat and catchy songs. Not proper country though, really.

I’m not an animal fan but that’s a lovely looking dog :-(

Scary to think that he could have gone for your children without warning though, I shudder at the thought of a big dog attacking my two.

I just moved up near Inverness a couple of weeks ago so still loads to discover but I’ve enjoyed contin a couple of times and there seems to be loads of natural trails in almost every wood that I pass!

I have a 96 kona cinder cone that I bought as a frame brand new at the age of 16. It’s had various forks etc on it over the years but at the moment I have modern 80mm fox forks and a disk brake onthe front and a magura rear brake (john tomac ltd edition no less!) Middleburn/xt/xtr kit and mavic wheels.
It’s light and great fun and I ride it at least as much as my newish FS bike. I have a set of p2 forks but I doubt I’d cope with a rigid bike these days! Love it too much to sell and it’s worthless financially so there is no point!

Weld a wee patch over it? The beauty of steel, a skilled welder can sort almost anything!

I got stung on one of my nipples a few years back, that wasn’t pleasant! Swollen and sore for 24 hours.
Was carrying one corner of a 120kg air con unit when I got stung, just had to grit my teeth!

I met her in a pub in 2002, chatted for 20mins about bikes and how great she thought Scotland was.
She was great chat and I was delighted that one of my childhood heroes didn’t let me down!

Still got my signed chairlift pass!

Sounds like your trying to use the worst part of both systems. As above I’d refit the old bell push or fit a complete new wireless system. Wired systems are my preference.

I guess if you don’t like it then you can always change the station?
Oh, and don’t listen to “Heart shaped box” by Nirvana. I guess you wouldn’t like some of Cobain’s other songs too, “Rape me” for instance.

I’ll be doing the same in about 10 minutes, good luck, it’s not fun!

Replace is with either a normal hanging pendant or a batten lamp holder, depending on ceiling height.
Fire in the brightest BC lamp you can get, 22watt low energy would be perfect.
Shouldn’t be more than £7 all in and will not require an earth.
    Happy days :-)

I broke some 8 year old Oakleys a few years ago, the week before I went on holiday. I sent them in with a nice letter and got new frames for free and returned within 3 working days!
Prob spent upwards of £500 on Oakley sunglasses between me and the Mrs in the last 15 years though. Still have and wear all of them.

Have a look at samba mobile data sim cards. Uses 3 network and you earn data by watching some adverts so you don’t actually have to pay for data.
Stick some adverts on while you make a cup of tea and enjoy free data at your leisure :-)

I’ve never fully realised how big the drop at the side of that trail is! Too busy watching where I’m going I guess.
I used to know a few routes up there but since all the trees were chopped I get lost up there!

Usually people to be found on gumtree, think because it cost them a grand 10 years ago it’s still worth a grand now.
Geniuses, love to see them try the same with a 10 year old car!

Beaulieu-sur-mer is lovely, we stayed there on honeymoon a few years ago. Just round the coast on the train from Nice. Some great driving roads especially the one over the hills to Monaco, the weather was so hot our mx5 was cooler with the roof up!

File 2 flat bits into opposing sides of the outer edge and get some big grips onto it. After trying all the above suggestions!

I’d be tempted to swap my fox forks onto the camber if I bought it as your right, the standard of kit on the stumpy is much higher and I have looked after it well. Seemed no matter how much I faffed with the future shock I could never get it perfect.
Still no further deciding, might well buy it just to find out, can always punt it if I prefer the stumpy. Just don’t want to buy a bike the same as the one I have already!

How do you get bed and board if it isn’t built yet?
That’ll be an incentive to work quickly!

80’s wiring is technically nearing the end of its life span as pvc cables do degrade and go stiff/lose flexibility. As a sparky though I’d be quite happy to use it provided you change the consumer unit and get all the cables insulation resistance tested as well as the earthing/bonding checked. Also check cables for mechanical damage and mice eating them wherever the cables are visible.

Look into a suzuki ignis sport, they are amazing little cars. 1.5 110bhp with a chain driven cam. Brilliant handling, useable load space, recaro seats and near 45mpg. Wish I never sold mine!

Oh, and you’ll get a good one for £1.5k if your patient. Mine was £800 but I was seriously lucky!

Bbc tv series Rockface: I was an extra in the episode they did about an mtb race. Was 1st to ride down the wee bank that they tried to make look steep so I’m in a full on close up!
Spent a whole day filming 1 scene so swapped gloves with my mate at lunchtime to see if the continuity dept would notice!

Get a prodrive exhaust, you’ll not need a stereo after that!
My bugeye wagon has been great, 130k and it drives like its done half that.
Cambelt and rollers was 190 for parts and pretty straightforward to change, don’t be scared by it!

My mate had one, earlier 1600 model, stripped out and running leda coilovers. A very capable little car indeed.
I would have bought it from him but i couldn’t get a replacement interior so had nowhere to put tbe wee ones baby seat!

Ive got a 96 steel kona with modern forks and front disk. Run a magura rim brake on the back and it never feels under braked. Superb bike and about 26lbs with a fox rl80 fork. Might be closer to 25, cant uite remember.
