Cheers Luke had seen the USE one and wondered whether it was a runner. Have tried the drawings with a local machine shop who were able to do it for the sum of £120 😯

Silverfish were as useful as an underwater hairdryer – mailed them three times and no reply. Want the hanger just in case but really need the shim as the current one is so worn the post is now rotating. As the seat tube is a rare size @ 32.6 nothing generic is available.

    Pike 454's
    819'S on Kings Hubs
    XT groupset running a double
Had to build 6 different long travel hardtails to get to this point and realise that it fits all my needs for riding.
Only bugger is I need a seat shim and both it and the hanger are very hard to get – Luke do you know where?

Mine was standard @ 71 degree's – I believe Gary still recommends this as the optimum angle, however as each Freeride frame is bespoke he will build you want you want. As Glenn says perfect for twisty singletrack but is too twitchy when things get steep. It's replacement does love to point down.

If you intend riding anywhere that points down don't go with the standard 71 HA

1992 – arrived in the back of a mini van to see television but the only thing I can remember is being mesmerised the length of the queue for 99's from a full on Mr Whippy van in the morning dawn

Ken wind the pikes down to 120mm and accept that it does not like pointing down anything steep. I found it was perfect for uppy downy sweeping natural single track. If you want something slacker with a lower BB have a crack on a Sovereign

Velly nice – all it needs is the colour coordinated duct tape for the seat tube. 😉

Having had both and been impressed by them of the two the Hex fitted my large noggin better and was better at breathing.

Rob does your new on-line persona come with a money back guarantee because the last one was nearly up there with Smee. And yet when I met you in real life you seemed to be a decent chap.

A bargain but not as big a bargain as Evans who were doing both ends for £104 three weeks ago.

Yep lubed the seals and added a bit more fluid than recommended so hope that is it. Working on the basis that it is losing no air at all and is functioning well I am hoping there is no damage done.

Did the aircan service a few weeks back and while it does not leak any air the shaft keeps "wetting" with fluid – any thoughts?

Don't be in a rush for the rebate – I have been waiting from Jan 10 for a rebate for the year 08-09. After countless calls, letters and apologies from them that a new computer system has meant things are running to a 8 week leadtime I am assured it will be sorted by the end of June. I won't hold my breath

Had an alpitude for 3 months, great riding bike that pedalled surprisingly well considering it really came together when pointed down BUT the build quality was shocking- really brittle paint, decals fitted by Stevie Wonders Taipei fan club and after two wet rides started to drip rust everywhere.

Had a P7 which again was a great frame which was more suited to classic up and down singletrack and had a better all day compliance to it.

If it has been serviced to fixed schedules work away, if it has been on extended one's there is a greater chance of the turbo going bang in the first 80k. The usual DMF issues apply.

As suggested above or Jorily.com is good if it for an older model.
GSF has the potential to be cheap if the monkey behind the counter could be arsed to order the right part even when you give him the chassis number

Yep with Smile and very happy even though they are not the most competitive rate wise – call centre staff definitly do seem to be trained to be different in that they are friendly and helpful.

Sorry to say it but to sell it you will have to offer it at 50% of RRP. As an indication Mk1 frames go for £250-£300 and they originally sold for £849 😯

Cheers squire for that bit of info – it appears that the freezer is now working (it freezes but not down to -18) but the fridge is @ room temperature with the compressor going all the time. Could it be just the stat?
