Tony CRC are doing tubeless conti cert pro’s at £18 – old school you might think but they are black chilli flavour and an absolute bargain

Nothing to worry about, a lot of them do it, there is around 130ml in the cartridge so will take a long time for it to make any difference to the damping.

Unless they have decided to improve/add seal protection I would give the smoothie a miss. Give it a few wet rides and the lower race will be oozing a nice shade of reddy brown. Would look instead at a mix and match Hope one.

Discoloured but they definitly follow the pattern shape of the bushing around the full circumfrence of the stanchion and they were not there whenever I first serviced them.

Built a mega up a few months back at the light end of the scale at 31lbs as an all rounder. When things got fast steep and rocky it came alive and was superb, really stable and a fun bike. However when it came to natural singletrack it just felt a bit dead.

Place and ad in the motoring section of the Times on Sunday and the Telegraph on Sat for at least £1000 more than the best dealer price – it may take longer to sell but you are keeping the potential profit the dealer will make

If you have a bit of mechanical competence the service kit for a 2.0 zetec engine is £61.50 from Europarts. What you save could buy you something shiny for your bike

Don’t pay any heed to Molgrips 😀 he only likes to pay top dollar in shiney Munich showrooms – £150 will get a full dsg service in Skoda dealers when in the UK – my wife has an estate version of the one you are looking at with 143k and it is still going strong – she is a community nurse and with lots of stop start driving she is getting a real 48mpg- oil and filter on the box needs done every 40k

Was in pretty much the same position as you at the start of last year with Payment Shield – had been paying for “cover” for four years, when it was explained to me what was involved in actually claiming, job seeking plans, constant phone calls enquiring about what I was doing to get a job etc I thought it was more hassle than it was worth. If you think it is a nice oppurtunity to get the bills paid and go cycling it ain’t. Sorry to pee on your chips.

The workmanship and brazing especially is a thing of beauty but the standard frames are perhaps old skool however you ca go bespoke if you want something special.
