I have a Roomster as seemed more practical than a Yeti which is what I wanted really. I think prettier, better spec Roomster would be my ideal car – I think there’s a new version coming next year and a bigger Skoda SUV in 2016.

Well I released it 30 mins walk from home in a secret location in woods not far from fields so hope it has a good chance of making a new life there. I checked a few times and pretty sure it didn’t follow me back.

Warning from me too – order a frame early December, website said instock. A few days later asked if it was, told no but would be delivered in a week or so. That seems a good price to upgrade to Di2 so I’d be tempted. I use it on my main road bike and it is nice to use but I also have mechanical on my winter bike and am happy with that too. BTW battery running out is not an issue unless you really can’t be bothered to charge it every now and then.

£50k is a metric ****-tonne of money for one person to earn.

Not really but it’s a good wage for most for sure. Six figures is a high income IMO but it’s all down to assets really – those without a mortgage can feel rich on £30k but if you’re young with a family and working in London £50k isn’t going to feel that great.

If you’re earning over £50k just do a salary sacrifice, if your company allows it, into your pension to reduce salary to £50k – depends how much over you are and how much you can do without.

It isn’t hard to beat FTSE be following recommendations for funds from the likes of HL and Close Brothers but obviously you’ll be lucky to beat it my a big margin. I’ve been investing for around 20 years and just pick good funds.

Roomster has better mpg, acceleration, flexibility and is more reliable than a CMAX and costs rather less. Yeah it doesn’t look great, CMAX handles well but Roomster is fine – I tried and hated a C3 Picasso.
