Assuming they are the current ones with the standard hole pattern then they should fit though you’ll need to use spacers for the granny ring – that worked for me and my non-XTR rings – not sure what brand.

I think to be any good, you’ve got to have some political background.

So does that mean the current lot did or didn’t have some political background when they started?!

rubbish pay, and now no perks.

That’s a matter of opinion – fantastic pension and a lot of cash when you lose your seat to sort yourself out.

There are more scientific ways to train for cycling, e.g. something like this for road riding:

I think he plans to finish the TdF this year whereas last year he didn’t because of the Olympics so not getting too tired on the Giro this year seems sensible.

Just to add my experiences…I use a 32t cassette with 22/32/44 and a medium XT mech on my Soul but not so many links in the chain. If I put it into 44/32 while on the workstand it all works so OK so if I did get into this combination for some reason I should still be OK.

In fairness the bit of the bible which says that, also states that shellfish are an abomination.

Jesus said it was OK to eat everything – that’s why the Jews are fussier eaters than Christians. Jesus made no comment on homosexuality which is why it’d difficult for the church to work out what’s the best thing to do. However people such as St Paul said that sex outside marriage is wrong therefore it would seem OK to be gay as long as you are celibate – from a Christian perspective.

Well I don’t watch his show very often but if I could make a career doing what he does I certainly would! He is pretty tough though – the first thing I saw him do was a show about the French Foreign Legion where a number of people tried to stick at doing what new recruits have to put up with. Not many lasted to the end but Bear did…!

When I bought my 1st house back in ’96 I took out health cover to pay off my £57k mortgage if I got seriously ill costing £30 or so a month – income protection seemed a waste of time to me so never bothered with that. After I few years I decided health cover was a waste of money too so stopped that as well. Only take these things out if the likelyhood of what you are insuring seems high enough and the problems you’d experience too great to handle.

I assume he just arrived with the bike and he was told to put it there. I usually leave mine in the car covered up which isn’t ideal but don’t think many places would be happy with a muddy bike in the house. I’m hoping to keep my bike in my hotel rooms on my tour in France next week….

The is similar to a mate – he stayed in a B+B last year and was told it was safe to keep his new carbon full-suss stumpy in the outbuilding. It was stolen and he wasn’t insured; he took the loss but wonder if he should have sued the B+B?

Well I think it’s correct that they are allowed to stay though not sure how many years is enough to qualify – any reason why 4 years? I like the way the French Foreign Legion works – anyone can apply to join and if they stay for, I think, 6 years they get citizenship.

Kimbers – What about Ant and Dec? I never saw them; such a shame…. Richard Briers, Toyah…oh I used to live on one of the roads where they made Stella Street – Mick and Keith’s corner shop was on the corner of my road. Saw them filming a few times.

I’m sure there are areas where falls haven’t been so great and others where they’ve been more dramtic but an 11.53% fall against a 12.73% average isn’t that much different!

    Drac:

I was very sure and then went there and now even more sure.

So the average is 12.73% fall over the last year; how much in your area?

Also, 5 year growth is 16.57% – your area better?

If you’re so sure prices haven’t changed much in your area go here:

you can substitute the 1st part of your postcode for the w12.

I tried to take a big can of oxygen through – I’d been given it for use when up a 4,500 metre mountain in China and didn’t need it – my superior blood?! Anyway, thought it might be fun to take back and thought would be OK in my luggage as just like deodorant right? But was told to bin it so I did after inhaling a good amount to see what would happen – I got dizzy that’s what happened….

I’d be interested to see how the price you sold for compared to the price given on http://www.mouseprice.com/

The seller has an offer from you for less than he’s asking. He has no reason to suspect your offer is only valid for a short period so leaves it open while others still seem interested. You get annoyed that he doesn’t bit your hand off.

    You fail!

Well an insurer doesn’t have to pay up for anything but maybe if the insurance is new for old they have to honour that if they agree to pay up.

Just remind them that if they can’t do like for like, they have to give you the money and that they’re not allowed to reduce the value.

Not allowed to? I think they can do what they want!

Seemed it didn’t stop her drinking 3 litres a day though! Did she not think they might be related?

He’s getting about 1000 calories a day from soft drinks. Assuming from the above that he doesn’t do much exercise, does he not eat much else or his he gettng fatter?

That much sugar must cause problems too – does he get a bit shakey?

i reckon we should double the minimum wage
    and maybe freeze/cut benefits
that should get a lot of the lazy job shy 3rd generation gyro cashers away from jeremy kyle
would also mean that we didnt need to import huge numbers of foreign workers to do the jobs we dont want

I’m not quite sure what would happen to those ‘3rd generation gyro cashers’ if their benefits were cut – a lot of education would be needed to make most of them employable anyway.

I do find it incredible that people are allowed to claim benefits and turn down jobs such as crop collecting. Certainly as they are allowed to do that we need those from poorer countries were are happy to do that work. As for doubling minimum wage – well most farmers wouldn’t be able to afford that as need to be competitive with imports.

I don’t think this is quite the same thing as it sounded like certain areas are essentially closed off – however maybe the church could rearrange their times if it’s only a few hours.

    mudshark

Anyway, I thought that God was omnipresent. Why does someone have to go to a church to worship him?

Want to more than have to – if someone can’t do what they want to solely because of an event then that is a problem I say.

    From the courier:

“We may not leave our homes for any essential items and, much more importantly, the whole community is prevented from attending the Sunday Christian services.

“I wonder if the roads would be closed and the residents ‘restrained’ if we were of other faiths or nationalities.

“I was under the impression that we were attempting to fight discrimination. Perhaps not if you are white and Christian and don’t cycle.”

So from what I’ve read above there’s nothing valid in that – is that right?

BTW, I saw something on TV the other day (so must be true!) saying that MPs pensions were the equivalent to us earning an extra £50k pa. They get a full pension after only 20 years.

I politely informed a middle aged chap walking along Yoghurt Pots on Holmbury to watch out for bikes as he was on a bike track ‘No it isn’t’ he replied; I didn’t tell him to get off just to watch out.

Recoil in horror at the gunk on the cotton bud

I used to know a girl who gave my ears a good licking; also a dog.
