I have a savings account and a current account but I also have a account for the band I’m in. It is linked to my account but I get a separate debit card.

Built some wheels a few months ago using dt swiss rims. They were supplied with squorx nipples, they seem to sit deeper into the rim, so my spokes were too short. I used a spoke calculator. When I started to get the spokes tight the there was still a few threads of the spoke showing. decided it would be better to use 14mm standard brass ones as my wheels were 28 spoke and the squorx nips were aluminium.

I found that I am loosing a bit of the low gears and a lot of high gears using 32t ring with 11×42. The new 1×11 has a wider range.

Sorry I got the valves confused

The DT swiss valves I bought had a curve on the bottom of the bung that mated perfectly with the curve on the xm401 rims I bought.

It’s ok, they are only massacring Kurds and razing their cities while silencing any opposition. Westerners should be fine.

I’m putting the shim in the correct place, it seems the only place to put it, I checked the exploded diagram too. I thought to move freely it should sit on the compression ring (the same way the top cap does) but it’s too big for that. The rubber seal is now directly against the top cup, is this is bad? I’ll see what other shims I have. Should have a plastic Chris King one somewhere.

I mean “Two” shims  By not being able to adjust it properly I mean it’s either too slack or it binds. I can’t really understand why it binds with the shim in place.

That was a roller coaster, think I’ll have to watch again just to watch Ramsey die.

Loving the new Amon Amarth LP, Jomsviking. Much better than the last 2 they did. Only band at the moment that sends a shiver down my spine.

For some reason I knew they would equalise.

I totally packed my freehub with grease and after a few weeks the noise came back. It not good to do that as the pawls can’t engage properly sometimes.

Here is my effort. Was a pain trying to drill a hole against the grain of the wood, kept going off to the side. Not tried it yet.

Thought I’d better use the proper tools for the job. Will ask in the bike shop.

Just heard on the radio that the commuters on the tube gave a totally different story about the course of events. Why did the police have to lie about it?

    Ah yes, Mongolian eyes.

They ****** up really badly. They were also racist “Mongolian looks” I heard mentioned. So they went after him because of his skin colour. The whole think stinks, I’m almost embarrassed for the Police. Someone should get the sack. So the cops can assassinate someone and no-one his held responsible? What a ****** joke.

Put a non tubeless Hutchinson tyre on a stan’s flow. It stayed up fine for 2 days until I took it for a ride. It blew off the rim going down the road after 30 mins. Went off with a huge bang, sealant everywhere. Luckily it was 5am so no traffic. Use a 2.4 HH 2 with no problems though, it doesn’t have TR on the side so assume it’s not really a tubeless tyre.

Refitted my thomson dropper after it came back from servicing and put a new cable in. Bleeding the front brake now.

Was vegan for a couple of years a long time ago. People said I was too thin, I didn’t look after myself much and drank a lot. Never got back into drinking cows milk though.I know quite a few vegans who are totally healthy and say they feel great. Think you just have to take the time to eat a good varied diet.

I’ve had both for years and still trying to decide which one I should stay with. They are both great, sorry not much help. I won’t be buying am45’s again though. Clogs is an apt description, sweaty clogs.

Took the bearings out of my hub. Feel really smooth after over 2 years of riding 9 hours a day in all weathers. Think I’ll put them back in and check in another year. Not gonna touch the freehub.

On the mbr video, Al uses the axle to get the bearing in.

My (complete?) set of presses has a seal tool, 2 for the front hub and a drive and non drive press for the rear hub.

Not watched the video in a while but it looks like he’s using the same tool for the freehub. Will have to watch the video again. Will watch the mbr video as well.

The screwdriver is to get them out.

Thought the support tool was for the hub shell. I just decided to buy the proper tools as I didn’t wanna risk it with sockets. Sawed the tip off a large screwdriver to make a bearing punch. Did the front hub fine, attempting the rear this weekend.

Had it until recently. Ran a kaspersky scan and when I woke up in the morning was greeted with “missing operating system “. Can’t do anything with is, there is a repair function that gets to 94% and fails.

I’ve got a Thomson that I bought on eBay. It’s started to sag a few millimetres when fully extended. If left upside down it drops several centimetres. If lowered any amount it’s rock solid though. I should probably send it to be repaired but bit worried about cost.
