I know nothing about this bike but the name alone has put me off wanting to know.

Got my Marshall super bass at home at the moment. Think it has 8.

Gave a large blast on my air horn while riding past the ones at the top of Whitfield street. They were so deep in prayer that only one of them jumped out of his skin.

Got into metal in 1982 listening to Number of the Beast, I virtually wore my copy out too. For me Soundhouse tapes, Killers, NOTB, Piece of mind, Powerslave and some of the first one. Tried to listen to stuff after but don’t get very far.

I’m planning on going. Been to a few but missed the “die ins”. It was originally planned to increase the spending on cycling infrastructure I think.

In reality they’re a pain in the ass, especially when you snap a spoke hundreds of miles from home

But how often do you snap spokes? They are supposed to be stiffer but most importantly they look better :) Just get a few spare spokes.

Thinking about this for my 2014 34’s. They are not that plush compared to my 32’s. While I’m at it would increase the travel to 150mm. Never tried a coil fork before.
Although I can’t find out any information on their website.

DT swiss make good 28 hole rims. XM481 30mm internal. I bought 401’s and wish I’d have gone with 481’s.

Was checking out stuff about oval rings on youtube. There is something about squeaking mechs caused by the constant bobbing movement. They showed how to take the clutch apart and grease it, well you can on shimano mechs anyway.

My mate is 5’9″ and ended up on a medium Zero AM. The friendly bloke at Bird said he could come back and try the Large. He seemed really happy with the medium though . I had a go on it and it felt a bit too long for me compared with my Switchback (MK1) with 45mm stem. The seat angle looked a lot steeper on the Zero compared with my Switchback as well as being longer and lower.

Long time since I’ve used xt hubs, the freehub seemed to go wobbly quite quickly. The freehub was almost as much as a whole new hub. I did see a video on YouTube of a way to get into the freehub and service it. I use hope pro2’s now, bearings last forever and freehub easy to service.

Going to Finland with the band in February. Getting in some good riding than 2016 before the nuclear war.

All I really want at Xmas is a rest and some time to get a few bike rides in. Going back to ‘home’ tomorrow and meeting family in the pub. Ms Mudmonster is Polish and I know a few family members are brexiteers, hopefully it will all be ok. Bit apprehensive with alcohol involved though.

Got some hopes that I bought from here quite cheap. The lack of choice with direct mount rings is a problem. Waiting on the 30t superstar oval to be released. The fitting/removal process is a bit of a ball ache really. Don’t think they are heavy, I weighed them next to the same length xt’s, 20 grams lighter.

I love mince pies but can’t seem to find any without palm oil. No idea how to make my own. Even the mincemeat I checked had palm oil in it. Didn’t eat a single one last year.

I use mine to dry the laundry. It’s like a small radiator at the back.

I thought the PHR washers had to be used regardless of nipples. Anyways I used them on my 401 rim with standard brass nipples.

Updated to win 10 when it came out. Was doing a kaspersky update late at night so set it to switch off the computer when completed. Woke up in the morning to a black screen and some message about no operating system. Tried all I could think of and had to give up. Really should have backed up all the new music and photos. My friend gave me his old iMac so I didn’t think about it for a few months until my girlfriends computer broke. I bought a copy of windows 7 and installed it, worked fine again. Did end up putting win 10 on it again. Ended up with win7 and and win10 on the same pc. She uses 10 and it’s been fine…but for how long?

Bought some Hope cranks from here but looked like no-one was making direct mount rings for them. The Hope ones are very expensive. Now Superstar are doing round and oval direct mount rings for hope for £30. The 30t oval ones are coming soon apparently.

I don’t think anything will change for another 20 years. I think like it’s getting worse, the colour of my pollution mask filters don’t lie.

Was bored of them too so bought a Ritchey WCS trail, 45mm length. Really nice stem but a bit of a git to get the bars on because of the 220 degree wrap around.

The whole point of the job is the flexibility

But they won’t be fully employed. They will be ‘workers’, they will retain their flexibility and gain more rights.

If they are open bath then 155mls sounds correct, maybe there was insufficient oil in there when you got them. I used oil from motorbike shops but ended up using Torco RSF medium. The oil in the other side is just to lubricate the bushing so I used to use a bit more than stated.

Sent mine to iRide, cost £100 for new cartridge and seal head and other things that I’ve no idea about (keyways or something).

Will ask her when she gets in. Think it’s the diet that has allowed her to reduce the dose.

Girlfriend has Hashimotos hypothyroidism. She changed her diet and was able too reduce her dosage to 1/2 of 25mg tablet every 3 days. This is the diet: http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-3139/13-Ways-to-Treat-Hypothyroidism-Naturally.html
She has a lot of frustration with doctors not taking her seriously.

I replace the bushing when they get wobbly with some from simply bearings. The bearing was still really smooth on mine. Think the bushings are £3 odd.
