Was at a Newcastle united game a few years back in Greece. One toon fan was thrown down some stairs landing on concrete on his head. It sounded horrible but he got up and looked ok. Must have been on the rakia, he was steaming.
Was there last week. I love it. Thinking about moving there one day. Was trying to see if there was any good trails from the plane. There are some strange things in the pathology museum. The russian war memorial in treptower park is pretty special. But best of all club mate(fizzy drink with a lot of caffein, and lovely beer.
About 10 years ago I was on a critical mass in london. It was in the days when there was no police escort. Towards the end of the ride it was thinning out a bit. We crossed a bridge and turned onto a road. A 4×4 just drove past with a bike and rider under the front of the car. The rider managed to escape from under the car. The driver jumped out holding a steering lock in his hand. No-one knew what he would do next. He threatened us and then got back in the car and drove off. Soon after a police car came flying past. I think he got caught but no idea what his punishment was.
Been veggie a while now and I’m just about still alive. You can be veggie and eat crap or eat sensible proportions of good quality meat. So I’d say the answer is probably not necessarily.
The first time I used one of these I had real trouble getting it on and off. Since then though found them just as easy as power links. Maybe I got a dodgy one or my technique has improved.
Is there any point to the photo of the goats head being cut off? Looks like the usual religious excuse for some good old sadism. There is even one of the “audience” whistling by the look of it.
About 97/98, a quarry in bradford. Could see it from my flat on manningham lane. So decided to take my claude butler up there. During the foot and mouth outbreak in 2001 it was one of the only places I could go offroad. I’d just ride up to the top and back down again for some exercise. Not very exciting.
It’s done lots of miles. No idea how many miles I ride at work but it’s quite a lot. The bearings in my front xc hub are feeling a bit rough and I put new ones in last year.
Think they are quite old(bought on here a while back). They were fine until I bought some new pads and they wouldn’t fit in. Opened the bleed nipple on the lever and pushed back the pistons. A few drops of oil came out. Pads were still rubbling but thought they’d wear in after a few miles. Went to Afan and they rubbed on the rotor the whole weekend. Then on the second day the lever was going right down to the bars. Was having to pump on the lever before any downhills to get it to work. I changed the tiny o ring on the caliper as I damaged the last one on previous bodged bleeding attempts.
Think there is air in there that I can’t get out. The lever goes down to the bars and just starts to engage the disc. I gave up with the instructions that came with the bleed kit(epic one) and followed MrNutt’s intructions. Will give these ones a go then, thanks.
They must be under immense pressure to get the descisions correct. She must have been even under even more pressure, knowing that she will be scrutinsed by thousands of men with the same views as grey. Glad he got the sack, microphones on or off he still has those views so he should have been sacked straight away.
I had it last year. I put some gears on my bike (just 9) and bought some time pedals. I went to a pysio. He gave me a few exercises. One of them was lying on the bed sideways and lift the leg up and down. Keep your leg straight, don’t let your hip move back. Another was to keep your back against a wall and standing on one leg lower yourself down and back up again. The PT went away and has not come back so far this year. It was a similar time last year when I had it.
My first record was bomber sometime in the early 80’s. I still love the early stuff. But now they maybe have 1 or 2 ok songs on each lp. They’ll only stop when Lemmy dies and you have to give them credit for that.
