Thanks, read a few reviews saying they were really powerful. In an old singletrack there were a couple of bikes with them. They said they were not very powerful. Heard they were a bit noisy.

All these downhillers must be rubbish riders with their 9″ skill compensators.

There is a tool for the seal. I bought the tool but couldn’t get the clicking noise like on the vid. Can’t get bottles of beer to go pop when I open them with a lighter either, oh well.

I have a 09 version bought from here 6 months or so ago. Will be keeping a close eye on the taco and the bottom of the seat tube. Mine weighs 27lbs with nice bits but not the lightest bits.

I think about it sometimes as kind of a “comfort” to myself. Like there is a way out. Went to counselling but it didn’t work for me. I hope I don’t get that low again but I probably will. It’s strange to read that other people think in the same way. I always think I must be the only one, especially when at a low ebb. I don’t understand why I feel more down in summer?

I used a beer can shim on a 28.6 thomson in a 27.2 frame. It was a tighter fit than the correct size. Used araldite to glue the can on. Don’t think I’d wanna do it on a new reverb post though. Then again you don’t need to touch it once it’s in.

Hhhmm, no idea they didn’t name specific “bits”. The pain is on the side of my knee on the inside. It’s a bit swollen.

Done the ones on the inside of my knee. Hurts a lot when I bend it. Any twisting movement is very painful. Don’t think nothing is torn or ruptured. I know they take a long time to heal. I’m pessimistic about 3 weeks to recover but I’ll see.

Been riding my mountain bike for courier work for 2 1/2 years with mtb slicks. Just getting round to getting some 700c wheels built to put on the on-one. Be interesting to see if I’m any quicker.
