How did the world cope for over 3 billion years of life without humans to control out of control breading by animals?

It takes a lot more land to breed animals than it does to grow grain. Think we should start controlling the human population and then we wouldn’t need to cut down rainforests to feed animals.

There is some new cab design. The drivers seat is positioned much lower and the windows are much bigger. It will probably be many years before we’ll see any on the road.

My girlfriend went under a lorry a few years ago. Lorry overtook her and turned left she was going straight. Her bike was crushed, she saw the underside of the lorry. She now gets as far as she can to the front of the road.

Always make spelling mistakes when I’m angry. I was careful not to leap to conclusions about who was to blame in this accident. I was blaming the haulage companies. I lot of the driving I see from large vehicles in London seems to be “I’m bigger than you, better get out of my way”. Don’t need mirrors on my bike I don’t have any blind spots. Newer lorries have added mirrors but it’s not required by law. It should be.
Personally I stay away from them as much as I can. The don’t indicate half of the time.

I have never ridden a 29er or a 650b bike but I can see that you should be the same height above the ground as a 26″ wheeled bike. The bigger wheels will make you feel more inside the bike.

Managed to get a fork with a 1″ threadless steerer and disc mount on ebay. Didn’t want to pay £80 but had no other choice really. Now looking for a un72 with a short spindle. Think I’ll just end up buying another HT2 in the end

26 v 29?

I’m annoyed that there are no 16″ raw’s in stock (26″ wheel) and they don’t know when they will get some. Very frustrating

I glued some on with araldite. The post was 26.8 and the frame was 27.2, fit really well

Finally after years of using a toothbrush bought a park chain cleaner. Love it, will buy some of ebay degreaser when the park one runs out. The park stuff is lasting quite well though for only 236ml

Using a 9 speed ring up front and it works fine with a 10 speed chain. Don’t know if it would work ok with 3 rings though, can’t see why not.

Just gone back on one bike. Was thinking it would be a stop gap but think I’ll keep using it now. UN71 with lx cranks.

Been thinking about a burner for when I eventually break my flux. Started to feel kind of inadequate with all this bigger wheel=better talk.

Spent 3 days trying to get 9 speed shimano shifters to work with a 10 speed rear mech. Couldn’t understand why it wouldn’t work. I did some research, which is what I should have done in the first place. Apparently the actuation ratio is different.

Maybe singletrackworld should create a separate thread theme especially for the 26 v 29 debate?
