Bought one, it didn’t work. It doesn’t fit over the valve when the core is removed. Looks nice though.

Cockatrice looks like archeopteryx to me, a transition creature that creationists say have never been found.

The explanation of the Griffin comes from hundreds of fossilised Protocrotops fossils complete with eggs found in Mongolia.

There has been a documentary on iplayer a few time called ‘dinosaurs myths and monsters’ I think. It explains a lot about how dragon myths came about.

That creationist rubbish was quite entertaining at first but in the end just mad me angry. The hypocrisy is astonishing.

Wouldn’t wanna try that with lightweight bike tyres.

Thinking about getting one of these on mboys recommendation , shame they only go up to 70 psi. It’s the only thing stopping me.

Had some built onto dt swiss 4.2 rims. They were great but not strong enough to take being walked on by a cow in the alps. With a bit of truing I got through the rest of the holiday. Rebuilt the wheel onto an fsa rim, then the bike got stolen. Been thinking about getting some more.

Having ridden for years without touching my seat post I now lower it a lot. No wonder I was over the handlebars so often before. If I did more riding I’d get a dropper for sure.

Having a tidy up and the key was in the bottom of my spare bike bits cupboard. I knew it would turn up somewhere.

I did read somewhere that they sometimes don’t put in the correct amount of oil in the factory. But can’t see them putting in such small amounts. I have started to put more oil into the air spring, about 60 or 70ml. I’ve heard 30ml doesn’t lube the bushings enough.

Just pull of the q/r end caps and push on the 10mm caps.

why do people take them out?

Had bearings seize in a single pivot Marin. Lower bearings and pivot shaft totally worn out on an early blur. Just the occasional squirt of grease and I don’t have to worry about anything seizing with ‘journal bearings’.

Don’t know what it is about BMW drivers. Mercedes drivers are pretty bad too.

Tempted, but I don’t really need one and would have to buy lots of new bits.

Was at Afan last weekend and and was dismayed that we’d missed the opening by a week. Having seen that video I’m kind of glad

Last night I was waiting on the crossing at Hyde park corner around 5.45pm. The lights had just turned red so had I a final look before crossing. I white van was going really fast, I knew he had no intention of stopping. Luckily everyone else was looking too. I remember reading the number plate and then thinking, whats the point, I’ll be wasting my time. When I turned the corner onto Sloane street there were 2 cops with a cyclist. I lost it (a bit) and told them what I thought. They told me to wait until they had finished with the cyclist (who had probably done the same thing as the white van but about 30 MPH slower). This happens all day long in London, buses, lorries and taxis.

If you go with CB get the 3s the wings are better and you get full bearings over bushings. Bearing change is ten every ten mins.

Time on my work bike, shimano 959 on MTB. Will change to time when the 959’s wear out but I think they are indestructible.

My recent experience of dealing the police having had bikes stolen is as follows: Checked an hours worth of cctv at completely the wrong times that I told them the theft occurred. They said they can’t spend all their time looking at cctv. Next theft they never even got back to me. I no longer have the will to even bother trying anymore. Good luck with this one though.

So what happened to putting a skirt around the side of lorries and what about this new cab design. As usual just talk as no one want to pay for it.

I used an Ortlieb for a while. Just like a big sack really, although you can get a clip on organiser. I like my pak bag a lot but they are expensive but built to last.

How many people have been brought to justice? The Sri Lankan government just says it was all faked knowing that it would be forgotten about in a few years. Makes me sick.

It’s a steel frame. Tried to cut into the the dome side with a hacksaw but it’s very hard steel. Think first I’ll try to cut off the excess skewer and then try and drill it out. Thanks for replies.
