I stupidly went from a Sony Experia Z, which I loved to the iphone 6.
Camera was excellent on it, and the android system was far better, although less choice of apps I found.
iPhone has nothing special about it at all, just looks nice.
The 6’s camera I have found is pretty poor when compared to my old Sony. Bad choice and now I am stuck with it for 2 years.

I worked in a place with new offices, and some of the offices had no natural light, and no windows! was an awful place to work. headaches and sickness all the time. Not too sure what architect thought that would be a good idea.

I think our school got a lot of cash from the olympic legacy, but now for many places that cash and legacy has been forgotten. A real shame considering that the olympics is a major reason for the increased interest in biking in all formats.

    Yes it was Nirvana!
Will check out strava and see if we can find some of those trails. Cheers!
Where would the best place to park be?
I think last time I went I parked near the Church in Westcott then headed up from there.

Gibson got it wrong…. It is not from Quest Stars, I did that in Oxfordshire! I got a map from a LBS last time I went. It was a loop that took in Leith Hill etc.
I have only been a handful of times, got lost each time trying to find trails, but I suppose that is half the fun.
The guy in the LBS said many of the trails were not marked as they are not strictly’legal’.

    Brilliant.
I must admit, not had any ‘visual disturbances’ at work.

Our school has a full set of MTBs, they are cared for by the LBS every now and then. Helmets all provided etc.
The PE teachers are trained to deliver it up to level 2 through British Cycling.
I get to go along to help as I have to film individuals doing the trails, so keep doing the runs again and again, as we need it for evidence. I’m one of the only members of staff to do it as a hobby so get to tag along, beats being in the classroom for a day!

I think with the tories ‘shake-up’ of education, they have said they do not want certain things on the curriculum. a number of sports have been taken off, which means schools simply will not offer them. Great shame.

I went from Virgin to Sky, and I am hugely disappointed.
For me Sky is a rip off, they ask you to add extra packages and deals at every opportunity.
I had virgin media and TalkTalk broadband that worked out incredibly cheap. Although router with TT was not great.

Not amazing, but I was pleased with it. I have also made a coffee table out of old apple crates too.

I laid a patio, first time, but it is not level. My neighbour peered over and called it ‘rustic’. I took it as a compliment.
I went to a reclamation yard and got my paving, got a very good deal on what in Wickes was very expensive!

At what point does it say ‘discussion for private pension only’?
I also have money elsewhere that I am saving to put towards a pension, so it is in fact relevant to anyone who wants to retire.

Surely when you retire you just ‘potter’. I’d love that.

Crawl back and keep quiet?! Rude. I sense some animosity over the fact that I have a fairly decent pension.
Because I do have a decent pension, it still entitles me to moan about it, just like if I had a good car I could still moan about it despite others not having a similar one.

My network EE could not match it, so went with mobilephonesdirect, happy with the service and deal I got with the iPhone6.

not if you have a Teachers Pension! If I decide to take out early, they will tax the hell out of it, so it leaves me with even less.

We had a pension talk at work recently, and they said the average pension pot in the UK of current working people will work out at around 7K a year excluding state pension.
Their advice was to save as much as you can for retirement, however I am under the real impression I will not be able to access my pension until I am 70.
I am thinking is it worth being so frugal now just to have a bigger pension pot? or enjoy much of it while I can?! argghh.

I have a home brew shop 2 minutes from my house. I have had varying degrees of success with the kits. Although I did make a nettle beer last year which was very tasty! for about 20 pints, it cost me £4. Bargain.

I have listed my DJ equipment on Ebay, three times now I have had people click the ‘buy it now’, which obviously I was delighted with. They then mail me asking for personal email, and they send a fake PayPal invoice to that account and ask the goods to be shipped to Nigeria!!
So no longer selling on ebay. Too much hassle.
anyone want to purchase some DJ equipment?

Wye, wife of Bath. great location as you can wander up on to the downs for a walk, then head in to Wye for some really good food.

I use my fishing chairs when camping, very hard wearing and comfy! Spend a little extra and get the recliner types, just not the large bedchairs!

It was a little ridiculous at points, and some of it was unnecessary. Was like they wanted to be gory for the sake of it.

It did get better though, and I thought was just a good sit and watch no thinking war film.

Have I missed something?! have trails now suddenly got much more difficult with the advent of 29ers and 27.5?! You’ll be fine on a 26.

If you have the time head down to Nant yr Arian. Completed a tour of Wales last summer, and rode this on the way up from Brechfa to Coed y Brenin. The only thing was is that you finish from what I remember Mask of Zorro with a bloody great fire road climb, before heading in to the final bits of singletrack. Well worth it though, with views at the top over to the sea at Aberystwyth.

I had some really bad knee issues, but I found some really useful stretches to do, and worked on stability and the fine muscles and it has improved, I no longer have knee pain.

I found a mix of stretches and a wobble board helped (can be found on physio room) Doing one legged squats and standing squats on the board helped. Along with stretching the glutes and the ITB. Plus find a good sports massage!

I wonder if people ask themselves when they see people in trouble in this country ‘do they deserve my help?!’.
