The bike jumble thing sounds good. Do you know of a website advertising these? When ever I have searched for them all I come up with is classic car and motorbike jumbles.

Not very light at all. Even the handlebars are plastic The whole thing flexes a lot, even more so if its been out in the sunshine. His folks have this which is fun to ride.

The light thing is a good theory but it was helmet mounted so it lit up wherever I looked.

I want to remove my windows from my XT shifters. What is the best way to blank the big hole off?

Not mine but my mates. Made out of plastic and not the stiffest ride in the world.

Wahey, I have me tyre and am all set for 2 days riding in Scotyland! What a nice man from Parcelforce.

Never had anything to do with Parcelforce but from what I have heard should they be renamed Parcelfarce? Can't see what is so big and bulky about a folding tyre that it could not be sent through Royal Mail in the first place.

No my mate ordered it for me as I was skint until Saturday. In the pub on Saturday night he said he had received shipping confirmation from CRC so was hoping it would be here today. Went to my LBS for one before ordering but they only stock contys and maxis, really wanted a rear WTB velociraptor to go with my front one though plus they are only 12 squid on CRC

Hang on I ordered it Thursday evening, not Friday (been a long weekend) so then in theory I am still in with a chance of receiving it today. Do parcelforce deliver all day long?

I am 6ft3 and ride a 20" white inbred, it is nice and long and fits me well. I reckon all these folk who claim theirs are too long are not as tall as they think 😉

Cayton is good but can be great and crowded. Works on different swell directions and tides. I will have to catch up with Ben and his brother, we used to knock around when i lived in Scaborough, I remember 2 A&E trips with him in the same number of nights. My kids live in Scarborough so I am over there quite a lot, last time I was there it was about 2 foot and messy in south bay and I counted 60+ people out, and that was in winter. Its going to be crazy come summer.

I have some Osiris frames with grey transition lenses. Came from specsavers and are very good. Was going to go down the daily disposable route but these changed my mind.

You can stuff a wettie in any longboard bag but I would not want to carry it all about between bays.

I know what you mean but I have hiked between bays with my Weber 9'4 and your rucksack is the least of your worries when you have a log under your arm.

Alpkit Gourdon bags are great for wetsuits. They are drybags with straps and are cheap to. Not much to them so they fold quite flat.

There is no quick fix for this, just use a long pile masonry roller and keep at it.

Just got back from my girlfriends folks house near Larnaka. I will be taking my bike next time. I have a Cyprus Cycling Routes booklet here. Mail me your address and I can post it to you if you like. It not much but is quite interesting. I did discover though that there are no restrictions on where you can ride a bike apart from on motorways, do be extra careful on the roads there cos no one indicates and they drive like nutters. Also traffic lights are a bit different as Red means stop unless it is clear to go. My email is mrvear@hotmail.co.uk.

I would expect more for £40, Me and my lass just had a night in a travel lodge near Manchester Airport for £29 and it was very nice. Complain and ask for some money back.

My sister had a kaliegh band play at hers, it was ace. No crappy disco and every one gets to dance with everyone else. Lots of swinging ladies around and stuff, everyone joined in, young and old. Come to think of it a friend did the same thing too and it was great, had pie and peas in takeaway trays for dinner too.

If you go for the torch option I have attached one with an old animal watchstrap with a bit of old inertube streched over the torch to stop it slipping.

I was going to buy a dx torch to go on my helmet but ordered one of these and one of these these too. Makes more sense to me. But I suppose with the torch you can take a load of batteries to keep you going.
