The other night I saw 1 newt, loads of bats, 3 deer and a badger.

There was a day when folk would spend a lot of money to get the lightest seatpost they could. Now people are buying **** heavy ones.
I was curious a while ago but since then I remembered I am lanky and quite happy riding with my post up. I will stop and drop it before a long steep descent. Some mates I ride with have them, they are no faster than me, and they don’t have to wait for me to manually drop my post before a long lakeland descent, as they are usually dying on the floor from the climb.
As with everything its personal preference but I cant see anyone who has spent £150 plus on one admitting it was a waste of money.

And testing 650b wheels 3 years ago affects them missing their window for their wheel order in what way ?

I love specialized and their sitting on the fence and seeing what happens with 650b stance. Where in reality they forgot to order their 650b wheels.
I also love how upset people get about wheel size.

The cereal box game. Get a cereal box, put it on the floor and take it in turns to pick it up with your mouth. You can only touch the floor with your feet. Once every one has picked it up then you cut some off the top and do it again and so on. if you fall you are out.
This is a great game but wear loose trousers as i have seen them split.

Knox dry inside baselayers are worth a look. They are fantastic, they let your sweat out but don’t let water in.

New to this trolling thing but its far to easy 😉 Of course I don’t think or know they are all numptys, that would be stupid.

Just to clarify the full face/body armour numpty thing. All the ones I came across that day really were.

There we have it mattbe, take your dog out riding when quiet like a sensible non numpty person and not when its a busy weekend or a busy trail centre. Why anyone would visit one of these places when they are busy is beyond me. I somehow ended up riding Glentress on a Sunday and it was packed full of numptys on long travel full sus bikes wearing full face helmets and full body armour. It was awful.

Has anyone asked the forestry commission where they stand on the issue. I would of thought it would be dogs on leads at all times.

Thank you for clearing that up for me kayak23. I get confused, could you help me with all mountain? I ride a hardtail with a cross country tag but crossing the country round here involves mountains which narrows my rideing routes down.

The kink is on the inside of the chainstay where the tyre passes. Come to the conclusion that his wheel may of come out and kinked it. Which wouldn’t be a manufacturing fault. So fair enough.

I never said a better cut was needed. Fat is good. I worked as a butcher for 7 years and folk seem to want all their meat as lean as possible then complain it was dry etc. My boss was a proper old timer and would sometimes refuse to remove fat for people. Brisket is a great cut.

Brisket needs to be cooked low and slow, was it nice and fatty?

Road mechs seem to all be big, I just think the big clamp looks wrong on a skinny steel tube.

16 inch 29er bikes look very wrong to me, I think its because the top of the seat tube is lower than the tires.
I wouldn’t fancy a wheels bigger than my inside leg measurement.
