It is very true having sand in one’s pants is not nice.

I’m thinking of playing Civ4 this evening after I put little grips to bed. I can finish a game in about 2 hours so I could still get a decent amount of sleep for the 6am wake-up call

    khani 🙂

perhaps I could spend the evening on Wikipedia…

If I could find my sleying hook I’d be fine, but it’s missing. I could improvise with a credit card but I cannot find the expired ones. Anyone think of another similar substance (credit card like plastic) I may have around the house which I could cut into a hook?

    You’re right I could get I plumber 😉

Or maybe a cleaner would be a better idea as the house is a sty.

One of the things they suggest when introducing new cats is completely separate bowls and eating areas to start with. Nothing should be ‘shared’ until they get used to each other and decide they CAN share.

We’ve been looking for an outdoor hutch for out cat too, so watching this thread too for ideas.

Tell me everything…I shall live vicariously through you all until I finally cave and get it (and then someone find someone to watch my child while I play)

10 tons is a lot…not sure it’ll fit in my back garden…maybe 5tons? and I already have a sledge. Maybe a reindeer instead?

Well I feel for you td as I’ve had a crap day. I’ve made some choco-chip cookies yesterday tho and you can have the few I didn’t burn.

And where do you get the snow that you sell to polar bears? Can I have some delivered for Christmas? 😉

Have you tried the Cheerios with a (children’s) fork? That helped us with mess. Also you might try some cereal bars or breads (homemade ones) too.

Really the days will pass very quickly and soon you’ll find that things ease with the mess. Their co-ordination increases rapidly from this point on. Just hold on a little longer and this too shall pass.

We’ve been having toast, fruit and yogurt here… It’s tough trying to find things which are quick and easy to clean up I agree.

I offer 2 choices, the cereal or the toast typically. If she doesn’t eat it I just know she’ll eat more for lunch. We often have slices of ham or sausages when we’re away.

All that proves is that women are only in it for shiny things…

Beg to differ, what it proves is
    1. relationships take work and you need to put things into them to keep them working
    2. that everyone likes to be thought of/loved/cherished- just imagine a minute if you bought a little something for your partner every time you bought something for you/your bike to go biking…not necessarily something big/expensive, but little things, like a favorite bar of chocolate, or a little potted plant, earrings, or you made up a bath for them, or if you did want to go expensive, you bought them new brakes, or fancy decals, or earrings, or a voucher to the spa… your partner would know that you were thinking of them and loving them even while you were away
    It could/would change most people's relationships loads…

If you have to ask if they're ovulating….

    mrsgrips

    Well I like to help/clarify 😉

But it's very true that sometimes things are all hot and heavy and then something springs up in my mind which ruins the moment for me. It's not always something that Molgrips has done, or said, but sometimes it can be triggered by it. The best thing to do is ask what went wrong and whether or not you can help it not to happen again.

Treat her like a bike… if it's broke or you don't like it anymore, get a new one. buy her new shiny things to replace the worn out ones

    fixed that for you.
