not very…because I have a house to clean and laundry to do and my toddler is screaming at me for moving things… and what I really want to be doing is sewing or sleeping…

I’d say blow up a bunch of balloons for her room in the morning, get some fun outdoorsy play things like chalk, kite and bubbles…then go out and make the whole day a ‘special’ day of fun…ask her what she’d like to do (give her 2 or 3 choices zoo, beach, museum) and let her pick the whole day. I bet she’ll think it’s great.

Better than pieces of brake cable, metal filings, wires, tiny nuts and bolts and burnt soldering iron bits on fabric towels… those can actually hurt! (and the cat never minded the string bits, and lilgrips likes picking up fuzz)

but not so much because of myself but because I’ve cleaned it up too many times in my previous life and fought off a few too many drunken guys breathing them in my face…

Well, not much that…but because your tastes mirror mine (or at least a bit) when it comes to chocolate.

Come home for lunch…and bring some chocolate…

You’ll just need to ride fast if I do get close and it’s your turn out.

I think the token girl should be a midwife… unless any of the rest of you are. Barring that I think you should all read up on childbirth techniques and how to boil water and fetch towels.

Yeti, I am NOT taking responsibility for you in any shape or form; you can be a cousin or something…

    DID YOU CALL ME MUM?!?!

And yes I do, while Mol is a non-drinker I drink small amounts in my ‘old age’. That being said he’s still see me drunk and apparently I’m rather endearing. But I will not be indulging that much while pregnant, nor if I pop early, as I’ll be nursing the wee one.

is anyone bringing whiskey? I won’t be able to drink much as I’ll still be preggy, but I’m not going to miss out if I can help it…

I quite agree (tho have no background to say much) that you should be allowed access overnight only thing that came to my mind:
if she’s nursing still at 6months then over nights could cause problems with feeding schedules. BUT at 6 months your daughter could be having cow’s milk now so it needn’t be a problem, and your ex could express while you have the child so that you have milk -1st week it might not be able to work, but second week it certainly could/would.
If the nursing is not the trouble/hold up then I’m not sure where the trouble should be… and so agree mediation and compromise and then solicitors would be the way to go.

just saw you said she’s not BF- defo shouldn’t be a problem really then

I’m not sure he’s going riding at all… should I eat the ice cream bars quick?

Granted he washed his cycle kit abt an hour ago. It could be some kind of tactic to throw me off the scent (it was rather stinky).

If you put the moat in with sharks I think you can get away with not having to worry about burglars… (I’m thinking ‘Vector’ in Despicable Me to protect the garage/home contents)

    1. A 4 bedroom house in the countryside with largish garden, veggie plot, and meadows or woodland near by to walk in -2-3yrs
    2. crafting/writing studio -3- 5yrs
    3. floor loom -2yrs
    4. Camper van -next year or so
    5. new body which doesn’t ache -ASAP
6-101. whatever else husband wants -once I get what I want first, unless they’re not too expensive…if he wants the lens he better be saving his own cash

    I thought I heard Mol…

I’m currently writing something too…but not ever finished anything enough that I would have sent it off to an agent.
I’ve recently started using Scrivener too (but the Windows beta) and find it helps.
I know 2 self published authors and one has done the kindle/-ebook route too. She twitters, blogs and FB’s about her writing too and so has quite a following.

Well at 37 weeks you look preggy…at 20 weeks people still look at you wondering [wink]
To be honest I don’t mind much; my body is suited to being preggy and I get all pagan earth mother goddess looking… There’s nothing like a good waddle to attract the eyes 😉 And when the milk really starts coming in the breasts all perk up 😀
I’m sure then to walk around the pool lockers naked to show off the lovely female form (and give teenage girls some second thoughts about unprotected sex)

II do think babies with bottles are prescriptive too. Most baby dolls are very prescriptive, tho not all are. Some are just cute dolls.

Boys 😉 you’re all so predictable and that’s coming from a pregnant ‘bird’

they do get fatter bellies…but I thought they’d have laid by now, but I could be wrong; I’m not native to the UK so not sure when they lay their eggs

It’s interesting, but I kinda think it’s not necessary. As Mol points out kids mimic what they see…for instance when I was a little girl I went around with my dolly tucked up under my shirt while the other girls gave their babies bottles…
I’m not sure a girl would press her parents for the ‘breast feeding dolly’ but I may be wrong. I don’t like these sorts of toys because they are very prescriptive. Biggest problem I have is if a boy wanted the doll you’d have to explain that in essence it’s not ‘really’ for him… as boys cannot breast feed babies…
Just give your kids a doll and let them do with them as they please, breast, bottle, catapulted off the shed in the backyard and ending up in the dog poo (no mom it was her really!) 😉

I was thinking rather vaguely following the route and enjoying the ‘other’ scenery on the way and meeting him at the end…
I’d not literally follow him; while he’s making love to his cycle I can enjoy some time with my family and then do some road-tripping with the kids and maybe one of their aunties. 😀

Money is no option (yet) 😉 After all, he’s the one that needs to work all the overtime/hours to make it work…
And hell, it’s a long vacation for me too if he does it because where Mol goes in this world me and the Lil’s follow… 😀

and just remember I want a comfortable camper to ‘follow’ you in with the kids… 😉

and if you’re buying a new camera, camera bag, len(s), track bike…. I want that floor loom…so make sure you consider that in your money calculations 😀

don’t get me wrong; you can do it whenever you like, but not really this year as we’re very busy…

I would also go with the O.Stylus -it’s basically the upgrade to the one we have which is also very durable, tho not so much dust friendly.

I’ve done some reading lately because of my own sickness with this pregnancy…and ‘they’ say that olive oil drizzled on items can help ease digestion because it coats the insides of the digestive tract. -I know nothing abt IBS really so not sure if this would help with the symptoms. I have found that if I drizzle olive oil on the thin crust pizza I do not seem to suffer the same ill effects as when I don’t…
