I think that's right, you are entitled to unpaid time off for emergencies such as childcare etc.

"In addition, almost all employees have a right to take time off work, although not necessarily with pay, for the following:-

to participate in trade union activities
to perform ‘public duties’, for example, being a JP, local authority councillor or school governor
to care for their children. People who have worked for their employer for one year have the right to unpaid parental leave. You are entitled to 13 week's unpaid leave before your child is five. However, if your child is disabled, you get 18 week's leave which must be taken before the child is 18
to attend to unexpected problems with dependants, for example, where child minding arrangements break down. A dependant includes anyone who reasonably relies on the employee"

Ta. not worried about getting anything for them (they're not mine they're office ones), I just hate throwing things away when I could be doing something with them. My father was brought up in the war you know, didn't taste a banana till he was 15 and all that 😀

Yes probably. And as said above most will fit for free and give you the choice of staying or not depending on if it's cheaper or not. Saved us loads of cash.

I'd love to say we spend hours lovingly sanding them etc etc, but yes, essentially what you said.

Oh, though we did remove 6 layers of lino from the floor as well!

Lol. I have been realising that 8 / 2 is actually 4 not 5 and 3, so I think the bike balance of power needs to be re-shifted in our house!

Separating them might be worse, our friends tried that with their twins at about 9 months old, they then didn't sleep at all. They're still in together now (at 4).

I use 175 cranks on my bikes. Saddle is very much a personal thing, every woman you ask will probably give you a different answer!

Bars, I use Easton. You may find you need to cut them down a bit, depending on how narrow her shoulders are.

funnily enough brakes I very nearly bought him one of those for his birthday!

As for the tv, we do actually have a spare portable kicking around upstairs, that is a plan actually!

Onzadog, sadly it is the same garage. it was supposed not to be, but recent circumstances mean that proposed new garage and veg plot is on hold currently.
