New bikes always take a while to get used to I find. First time I rode my Juliana I came home in tears as I thought I'd made a huge mistake. A few set up tweaks here and there over the next few weeks and it was fine.

£200 a month on food for two is easy, that's what we spend and we eat very well. Just don't waste food. I do a meal plan and buy to a list. It's not hard at all. That also includes decent quality free frange / organic meat, not cheap shit.

I know a few people who have married people they met online.

we have an 8 year old hotpoint with 2 of us who ride. We never rinse anything first and have had no issues at all with it.

we plan to use (mostly) washable. In fact a friend has just given me a load free. result.

I am mostly drinking; squash (tesco own brand orange and barley or summer fruits and barley), ginger beer, elderflower fizzy stuff (the Bottle Green ones are nice, if dearish), grapefruit & cranberry juices (half and half), orange juice and tonic (half and half) and becks non alcoholic beer, which is actually not that bad.

ETA I am really missing a nice G&T though 🙁

I had about 4 really bad days where I could keep nothing down and do nothing other than lie on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. Most of them at weekends though thankfully, I went home from work one day, having had to rush to the loo to throw up – when there was a client in there. Professional 😉

Mostly though it's just been all day nausea and random gagging rather than actual sickness. Seems to be pretty much gone now though.

Sorry she's got it badly, I hope it eases soon for her.
