    I've had 3 spots,2003 hl,2008tnt and 2009dw,the dw is the best,snappy for a 140mm bike,swallows square hits,rails single track,climbs like a goat!
Got a 150 15QR float on it,also have a talas 36 that makes the bike feel more bomb proof.

The DH track has now had a gate and padlock put on with a private sign! due to the amount of people turning up it,it was no longer locals only.

I have had,hl,tnt and now have a dw spot, the dw picks speed up faster,no squat on climbs and is better on square hits. The dw frames have put weight on but you can not tell as they pedal so well,i also find with the lower bb they are faster on singletrack. I also have a 08 Flux but don't use it much as the spot pedals so well.

TLR,yes i Know all about push rockers,5.1,5.3,140mm etc,but Turner does not believe in a adjustable rockers!I have tested a few adjustable rocker bikes and find them ok but not perfect!

TLR iam sure Turner can afford the HL but the DW is better,he also does not like adjustable travel settings! The DW Turners aren't the best looking but Nicolais are just ugly!

I had to give up with the road bike as i was in a lot of pain,no problem on the mountainbike,i have arthritis in the hips + sciatia! When i used to ride on the road i got set up by Paul Hewitt well worth the money,no neck or back pains.

I would check with Turner before you do it,they had problems when they anodised frames due to issues with the tolerance with the bushings,1 in 3 frames failed!

Yes,160mm talas with the 20mm bolt through, run it at 130mm most of the time with the 160 on the downs.Turner does not encourage it as you can flair the head tube( the DW model has been alterd to take 160mm forks)i don’t abuse the frame fork with large jumps but i like the 36 for its stiffness and tracking.I also have a Talas 32 but it just feels better with the 36.

Came across a couple riding at Whinlatter with their dog,the dog got in my way on one of the switchbacks much to the owners amusement!
As much as i like dogs, trail centres are not the place for them!

The Fox 36 is a good match,i have a 36 Talas on my 5 spot,if i had a RFX i would use a float 36.What sort of price did you get the frame for?

    mrpink
