we removed ours and installed a firemans pole and a kinetic trampoline, the ceiling is now damaged from missing the pole and hitting the trampoline, then the loft space.

down here on Exmoor there is a stretch of metalised road that has no turnings, junctions or access. Apparently three farmers got together and decided to run an easier route across the moor. The farmer who owned the middle stretch of road did his section, the other two didn’t bother. does this count?

I’ve got a couple of McIntosh MT5 turntables which I got in just so we had a couple of decks to play/dj on now and then, to be honest they we’re a bit of an excessive splurge as most of the time the cat sleeps on them.

I had x3 Sony Z2 all of which self destructed (screens cracked, single crack from the base to one side) all replaced by O2, after Z2 No.3 failed I gave up on Sony and went for the LG G3, its a fantastic phone, better than the Z2 in most ways although the waterproofing was nice to have. That said I’m currently phoneless after the LG G3 has ALSO cracked.

The phones have not been broken as a result of being dropped, rather they have ALL cracked spontaneously. in the following scenarios:

Sony Z2 No.1 = cracked overnight whilst it charged on my bedside table, when I went to sleep it was fine, in the morning it was unusable.

Sony Z2 No.2 = cracked whilst playing music laid on a wooden table outdoors.

Sony Z3 No.3 = cracked whilst sat taking photos on a beach in Eire, phone had got noticeably hot. (obviously not due to the climate!!)

LG G2 No.1 = sat outside again, watching an Orson Wells feature on youtube, screen cracked before my eyes again.

I’d like to say that its because I’m hideously ugly, however a large beard obscures most my features, that and I have been advised by O2 that there was a bad batch of Sony Z2’s and that it was a known fault, My insurers service dept have advised me that Sony issued a recall and although LG’s are not failing in anywhere the same number of Sonys they are beginning to see more of them.

IT seems most of these phones have all failed in under a 3mth period, I’m having the LG screen repaired out of my own pocket.

If I had the choice again, I’d buy another LG G3 as its a fantastic phone, oh and an otterbox case.

I have a collection of old tax disks, may from completely different vehicles, I like to switch them around on different days, sometimes I change them twice or even three times a day.

Imagine repeatedly walking past my car and noticing that they keep changing.

how does that make you feel.

Imagine, red. blue. red. green from a maxi.

    oh dear.

we’ve got a Jane Matrix system thing which has been excellent for the past two years, from birth we were able to safely bring her home from the hospital in the travel cot/pram which then as she grew also “folds” to make an enclosing child seat, now she’s two and she’s in the push chair seat that also comes with it.

Its got big rubber wheels and suspension on the back two (its a 3 wheeled affair) its also good for jogging with.

I would strongly recommend them, not the cheapest but very very good.

to be honest it is an incredible piece of kit, far better than an iPhone, having had 4 years of iPhone confinement I’d not realised how locked down and basic they are. The Android OS is waaaay more configurable and flexible. Its also pretty much clutter free. The Z2 is very very quick, it has the best camera I’ve ever seen in a phone and the fact that its got 3gb ram, 16gb onboard with an SDXC storage slot means its very very flexible (I’ve currently got a 64GB microSDXC but further down the line I shall probably treat myself to a 128GB one. The phone’s battery is as good if not better than the iPhone and I find the size perfect for my big hands and rubbish eyesight! oh the screen is fantastic too… …when it’s not cracking and rendering the device 100% unusable.

    UPDATE:

so I’ve my new Z2, its not spontaneously composted yet and its a far better phone than the iPhone 5/5s and KitKat appears far more flexible, interesting and adaptable than iOS8, I’m confident that I’ve made the right choice leaving “the walled garden” even if this new place is a snake infested app store of unregulated arse.

And yes that arsenate on the Sony support forums deserved the shortshrift as he is an obvious FanBoy (the lowest of the low) and thought he was breaking new ground in international humorist circles by, wait for it, making fun of my surname. He was lucky to get out alive to be honest.

Still, relatively happy with my Z2, although it’d be a different matter if I didn’t have faith in O2 Platinum customer services having my back!

I’m going to give it another try, hopefully it was just a lemon.

The Z2 seemed to be a very capable phone, far better than the “child friendly” approach of iOS and although I despise having to spend time making things work I was very impressed with the functionality and flexibility of Kitkat. Whats more the Airplay app I was using appeared to be far better and stable than the apple one!

I’m pushing Sony for a confession that the Z series are prone to failure just incase because I’m not happy about having a phone that breaks through no fault of my own!

short answer: yes, but I’m scared!

I’ve just upgraded from my iphone5 to an nice shiny, waterproof, 3gb ram/130gb sdxc card capacity, noise cancelling headphones Sony Xpreia Z2.

It was great for the two days it worked, then overnight, whilst charging on my bedside, the screen spontaneously cracked rendering it unusable <- link to bitching fanbois on the sony support forum.

had to go back to my iPhone for now due to the bank holiday but a replacement from O2 should arrive tomorrow.

Wish I’d heard about this “self destruct feature” Sony appear to have included in their flagship range before opting for it, I’d have seriously thought twice about that!

Still, when it was working it was x100 better than my iphone5.

oh and the upgrade was FOC on 24mth contract.

you could try putting some egg yokes, some white wine vinegar, some dijon mustard, a little lemon juice and salt n’ pepper (add herbs or wholegrain mustard here if you fancy) in a magimix, then turn it on and slowly pour in veg (rapeseed) oil, then add a little olive oil.

What you make will do perfectly for what you’re looking for.
