yep, thats what I use mine for, also charges up very quickly when the USB lead is plugged into an elcheapo cigarlightertodoubleusb plug I have.

Navigon has google search, its also better than the premium tomtom’s my collegues were using.

Plantronics hd pro, because I use it daily, alot. And yep it connects to two phones (it took me about 3mths to realise I only had to press the button twice slowly to connect to the other phone).

Its good because i can drive with the windows down or roof off and still talk and hear people.

I replaced the back and front of an Iphone4 on the weekend with a screen (and LCD) and steel back both off ebay, came with the tools n’ all.

Its a (very big) bit fiddly, just make sure you get the one with the “screw mat” or its a PITA, I didn’t and miraculously ended up with a few ‘extra’ after rebuild! still it works and its not that hard to do.

total cost £40.00 and some colourful language.

it makes far more sense to address individual / community usage imho.

a combination of solar/small wind/biomass & AD when deployed sensibly and sensitively is the best solution. Renewables work, the problem is that the incentives tend to attract investors and the budgets get sucked away from the original intended recipients.

The distributed power model makes far more sense, its more resilient and communities/individuals can (better) look after themselves.
