I gave up on new year. that is all, just cut down to only smoking if your going to have a drink, then reduce your drinking, then have a night of too much drinking and smoking, then stop and don’t go back :)

    works for me, everytime.

the 09’s have reynolds hydro formed top tubes and are particularly lovely, if you were to build it up on the burlier side of AM then you’d probably be looking at it weighing in at around 31-32lbs, thats about perfect weight if you ask me and you’d be hard pushed to find a nicer riding full susser imho

I’ve not had any issues with Orange back up because my bikes not broken, I’ve heard the odd tale of dissatisfaction and most seem to be post warranty issues, all contact I’ve had with Orange has been really helpful & positive if that helps?

CHB, would you say its worth £30 for 4x250g

I’m drinking a cup of it now and I gotta say I think it was money well spent (and cheaper than nice booze)

Actually now I come to think of it without revealing details there was a few I met and I mean just a few who were complete and utter ****.

    Espresso or occasionally Cappuccino
Gaggia Classic (the older polished steel not the brushed finish one, no plastic in the portafilter)
Duralit burr (and I’ve got one of those wood & steel tamps)

I’m looking at getting a bottomless portafilter, if only for the novelty of watching it flood from beneath!

Zedsdead, didn’t that bike get outlawed by the Geneva convention and posting images of it, if I remember correctly is classed as a war crime?

that Holga puts out some nice tones, I watched a programme last night with a fella trying to (and failing imho) to recreate some of the "greats" work, David Bailey was even on the show, it did seem that the images they were taking (both film and digi, side by side in a few cases) that the film pictures tended to capture the "life" of the scene where as the digi shots whilst very rich in detail seemed a little clinical and stark.

does that stand up do you think?

ah I remember that, wasn’t it both wrists? looked bloody painful but the legend that he is had that picture of him in hospital grinning with his wrists and some agonizing looking angle, nah that wasn’t me but that was nuts!! :D

    I’m biased as I ride pro2 and mavic 823’s

I’d be inclined to try something with quicker engagement than the 4 paws of the pro2 if I’m honest.

I’d go for this one: hope pro II hubs on 819

because of the whirrr and the "oh **** I hope my rims ok" and it being fine.

are you the guy that broke his arm and ended up in hospital? or am i completely misguided

I don’t think so, I once fell into the deep end of a drain swimming pool and broke my skafoid but not a lotapeopleknowthat.

who were you thinking of and how did it happen? I’m intrigued!

been to the Greenman festival a few times and spent a fair few hours gazing longingly at this:

over to the right is Crickhowell, the countryside’s lovely around there!

Oh and if you like Whiskey you can often pick up Penderyn from the off license for a good price ;)
