took 4 weeks to arrive, very battered. It was the return flight, they wouldn’t pay or provide anything until they could determine that they had lost it or not!!

I’ve consulted with folk who have spent enough on a single system, enough that could have bought them a pretty little village in North Wales, and they had the following to say about the McAire: “It performs way beyond our expectations, to achieve the same sound (albeit with greater volume) with individual components you’d have to spend in excess of £30k, its a real “jaw dropper” of a little box of tricks”.

I suppose there’s something to be said about the fact that its 100% built by McIntosh, that the speakers are the same as used in their reference systems and there’s no fannying about with ultra low base metal cryogenically treated oxygen free vacuum manufactured platinum non directional shielded interconnects.

…but you COULD by a reasonable car for that!

you think it’d be a case of more style over substance?

I lost my uncle on a motorbike, not his fault, long lasting irreparable damage to an entire family. I’d keep it if I had no responsibilities, but if I had a family, it would go.

I’m tempted by the nokia1020 (64gb on O2) rather than my usual upgrade to the next jesusphone (currently have a 5), however I did swear I’d never buy another nokia after the hat of shit that was the n97

my concern with the likes of flickr is that don’t you end up signing over the rights to your photos to them?

my concern with crashplan is that if its going to take at least a month to upload everything how long is it going to take to restore anything?

The dropbox option would be ideal if it didn’t duplicate everything locally, maybe it’s possible to set it up to host the local dropbox folder on a stand alone local pc? still its stupid backing up the same folder twice at the same location.

did I hear that the next release is a smaller nano type iphone??

I went from a 4s to a 5 and its lots better, the larger screen is a big plus as is its thinner & lighter form factor. I use mine in a case, I think its called a penguin? which I got from tesco, its essentially a flip open wallet which has room enough for about 6 cards. A thicker phone would be too bulky.

Plus iOS7 runs a treat on it.

O2 because they sand us flowers and always check to make sure they have us on the best deal. And because their TuGo app means that if you have no GSM signal you can still use your phone to send and receive calls/texts over wifi. And because they are great.
