I’m loving these for steaks in a wood fired oven, on a kamado or just on a gas hob: http://www.souschef.co.uk/tawa-pan.html

half your problem will be that you’re using cheap cables, you need to replace the contents of your USB cable drawer with these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nordost-Heimdall-USB-Cable-1-0m/dp/B00KSLVZY6

    Gas isn’t BBQ.

I don’t mean lumpwood by Big K or similar, I mean the proper stuff.

I use this stuff made by Dan

    https://hotsmoked.co.uk/charcoals/nettelfields-artisan-charcoal.html?SID=loj5g6im6rfg51pcq3d92cppi0

One bag will last my Primo XL about 24hrs L&S or about 6hrs grilling (raising and lowering temps by opening the top vent for searing).

In my ProQ Excel 20 one bag will give a good 8hrs when lit minion style (with heat gun)

I’ve tried pretty much every type of charcoal, coconut, braii, heatbeads, BigK (all types), etc etc and there’s no substitute for the proper stuff. I do this every day, and I’m in the Good Food Guide, trust me I know what I’m talking about :)

anyone who is considering cooking with fire should really watch Episode 3 (series 1) of Chefs Table on Netflix, let Francis Mallmann be your guide.

    here’s a few tips.

only use proper lumpwood charcoal, never anything self lighting or briquettes.

Stop messing around lighting it, get a black & decker hot air gun and within 3 minutes its lit.

pay attention to the coals and where is hot and where is not, do n’t try to cook over full heat all the way, by all means sear it but then cook at a more gentle pace just away from the heat.

Come down to my restaurant and shadow me for a week, and I’ll make you a BBQ god amongst men.

If you’re anywhere near North Devon this weekend pop along to Tapeley Park as its the “Stately Dubs” Weekender, plenty to look over and exchange tips on which motorway has the best hard shoulder :D

I’ve just bought a coahbuilt 1990 transit as I quite fancied the idea of a shower, toilet, two double beds and a full kitchen as well as being able to stand up straight and get in and out without scalping myself! :D

Still I’ll probably be sat on the side of the motorway with everyone else, just not in as much style!

    oh the address is:

    Tapeley Park
    Instow
    North Devon
    EX39 4NT

(don’t use satnav as it’ll take you the wrong way, follow the brown tourist route signs from around bideford)

More to the point why the hell did

    (a) I get bitten by a horse fly

    and

    (b) do I now feel like I’ve been hit by a truck?!?

seriously, aching joints, nausea, fatigue, headache, etc

There is just no need for this, bastards.

x3 self cracking sony Z2’s never would I buy another Sony.

x1 LG G3, I dropped it, insurance replacement.

Now have a Heuwai P9 Plus and I’m protectorless but it comes with a 3mth no quibble replacement on screen and 3 years on handset, as soon as I can find a good protector I’ll get one! its a bloody great phone btw.

the problem with Sonos is the quality of the wiring/components they use is just not up to producing accurate reproduction, its ok if you just want a bit of background noise but its not really a proper sound system

I’m quite fond of Nova to be honest, running on BrokenOS, which is splendid. (yes LG’s stock camera is better but I use a GF1 for photos now anyway)

I’ve been looking at the following:

HP x3 Elite – camera is a bit pants apparently but massive size, B&O speakers and Mil spec durability, then there’s win10 with continium?

X Series Pro – 3gb of ram when everyone else has 4gb, stamina mode, high MP camera but Sony can be hit and miss with cameras sometimes?

LG G5 – bigger screen than the S7 also less bodged android, B&O DAC module looks interesting, small replacable battery, widest angle camera, not waterproof?

Galaxy S7 edge – non removable battery, best low light/auto focus camera, touchwiz faffery, novelty screen on the edges.

Xiaomi M5 premium pro – 128gb but no sdcard, ceramic back, very fast minimal bloatware

I’m swinging between the S7, the G5 and the Xpro.

The HP hasn’t got a release date yet and I want to see the camera samples but a 6inch screen would be nice, but would it be a nice enough package to sacrifice the camera for?

My experience with Sony has twice had me swearing they’re worse than apple plus the screen is only 5inch.

My LG G3 has been superb I’ve even just bought a new battery for it as I’m still happy with it but its been 2 years, I like the idea of a good audio DAC though, that could be useful. It’s getting some serious consideration.

The S7 lack of a removable battery irks me a bit as I run my phone using root and it’s handy to be able to pull the battery occasionally, that said I’m very tempted.

Xiaomi M5, its good, but not that good I fear.

It’s a tricky choice one that will probably be between LG and Samsung… I doubt it’ll be an iphone though.

Nexium 40mg Esomeprazole a day for the last 8 or so years…

Would love an alternative as I’m sat here with notable reflux, I’ll go for the magnets if I get the chance.

My concern is as a long term consumer of these drugs is the info relating to prolonged use and magnesium deficiency…

the idea of a phone with fancy curved glass sides fills me with fear as it sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

The Z5 from O2 is gold, which would clearly inform the world I am a ****. Also the 810 chipset over heats.

the lumina 950 xl looks nice but I think the tiles look messy.

I can’t be going back to iphone, android is just better.

Camera is a key need for me…. The Moto Droid turbo looks good but nowhere seems to have them

I see that the ISIS French Connection has links to Brum, surely if we carpet bombed the Midlands the rebuilding effort would create loads of new jobs, which in turn would bolster the economy and may even pay for that fancy rail link and make a nice New North London Suburb?

    This again.

Take the clove, and chop the top and tail off it.
Carefully slice it lengthways and the skin will also now fall off it.
