the idea is that treating the symptoms can give you the energy and drive to address the cause(s). It’s not an either/or situation.

there are other anti-depressants around and you can find comparison tables on t’internet explaining how long they take to kick in, likely side-effects etc. There are differences even between drugs in the same class.

I totally agree with the suggestion that depression is a consequence of MTFU too many times before

Which is strange as I don’t know the number and have never used it. The only people who know it are TalkTalk and BT, they both deny selling my details on and I’m ex-directory.

I suspect they re-use numbers. The very first call I got on my new landline before I even knew the number myself was a cold caller.

flying to Edinburgh at 500ft

I flew from Guernsey to Manchester once. There was some impressive turbulence such that we put down at East Midlands for them to clean up the lakes of barf (not mine, I hasten to add). We then flew onto Manchester and I was convicned we’d be scattering the paragliders we were so low as we hopped over Mam Tor.

arrays are like black magic at first but great when you’ve got to grips with them. I learnt them from one of Stoner’s threads on here. It’s basically a permanent pivot table.
