I flogged my 3rd generation nano on eBay for £85 a few months ago, so would think you should get more than that

Sadly, there is no obligation for them to pay up.

I’ve had a couple where they haven’t and there is very little you can do about it, apart from raise a claim, and even then nothing is guaranteed.

I believe BBC One HD isn’t on 101 because there are no regional variants on HD yet. Same reason why ITV1 HD isn’t on 103.

You can book share as long as both kindles are registered to the same amazon account. I think they let you download a book to 5 or 6 different devices on the same account.

In the US they do have a proper loaning system where you can send a book to another account for 14 days.

Have the WiFi only version, and never felt the need for the 3G. Never felt the need to buy a book that urgently, and have phone if need web access.

Should be pretty child proof as long as it doesn’t get tossed about too much. Its got Gorilla Glass, and the case is metal, so it is reasonably sturdy. I still would be worried if i dropped it though.

    Yes you can.

I got an Eee Pad a few days ago, and first thing it did was tell me there was a firmware upgrade. Asus have said the 3.1 upgrade will be available sometime in June.

Had mine for just over a week after going from the 305 the same as you. Liking it so far, and I only got the basic model without mapping. I have downloaded the OSM maps for free though, and they work just fine. May find that local trails won’t be on there, but then that’s your job, to update the OSM maps on your return from a ride.

Not got a screen protector yet though, still to find one that looks any good, if anyone has recommendations.

Hi, sorry i forgot i posted about this.

Still getting full travel, but they do sound a bit squelchy. Bike hasn’t been upside down at all. No floodgate on my Pikes, they are the OEM ones that come on the Pitch Pro, 351 coils i think.

I’ll get round to sorting it out, but is it safe to use in the meantime? Don’t want my forks to explode on me while i’m riding.

Doesn’t accidental damage = crash damage?
Must admit I’ve only looked at E & L so far, will have to clarify what accidental damage actually means.

Thinking about insuring a new bike (just over 1k). Would i need specialist insurance to cover crash damage? Can’t say I’ve seen any house insurance policies that would cover that, and after having a crash last year and forking out for repairs, want to make sure i have crash cover this time round.

Another for 515W, photos not coming out great but to be honest I think thats to do with the cheap Tesco photo paper i’m using, and i dont think my monitor is calibrated properly for printing photos.

Wireless is really good though, and even scanning can be done wirelessly.

Used Tesco for almost a year now and only go into the shop very rarely. Only had one bad experience where they never showed up on the night we were entertaining and had nothing for guests to eat/drink.

I find it better as I can shop at my leisure over the course of the week, and spend less than I would in the shop as there is none of the ‘Oooo.. that looks nice, chuck it in the trolley’. Probably save a good £20-£30 a week, even after the delivery charge. Our substitutions have been ok on the whole, and the price match is good so that if they sub a more expensive item you still only pay for what you actually ordered. Only weird substitution we ever had was a pack on Naan bread instead of a packet of couscous…. no idea where that came from.

Everything up to Dress To Kill was great. Went to see Circle which was pretty much just a re-hash of Dress To Kill. Saw Sexie live as well, which was funny, but did feel it had gone off the boil a bit. Watched Stripped on DVD earlier this year and fell asleep during it.

I reckon he’s just so busy with other stuff these days, he doesn’t have the time to develop and refine new stand up material. Probably is past his best, and should leave it a few years before doing another one.

My eON one is by the backdoor, so we can see on the way out the house if we’ve forgotten to turn something off.

Cycle lanes. These are shown by road markings and signs. You MUST NOT drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a solid white line during its times of operation. Do not drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a broken white line unless it is unavoidable. You MUST NOT park in any cycle lane whilst waiting restrictions apply.

… so i guess it depends how ‘unavoidable’ it was… bit murky

I have a steering wheel, but never use it ‘cos there doesn’t seem to be any good compact wheel stands, suitable for sitting on the sofa with. Unless anyone can point me to one of course :)

Only ‘need’ the starter kit, if you dont have the PS Eye already. You only get one Move controller, which is enough for all the games at the moment, although some of them can use two if you have them. The gladiator and archery games will be better with two controllers, but are ok with just one.

Was looking at the 705 to upgrade my 305, as its getting a bit tatty now, but depends how much the 800 will cost, and if the 705 is reduced as a result.

I have my £1300 bike insured by E & L for just under a tenner a month. Just wondering though, does house insurance cover bikes damaged in accidents, or only when stolen?

I ordered this 16GB Kingston off amazon.

Its the recommended one, and not had any issues with it. There are big problems with some brands at the HD hero, so definately stick to the GoPro recommended ones.

When I first started on my road bike, I found climbing much more difficult. The road climbs around Matlock in Derbyshire were easy on the MTB compared to on the road bike. The reduced weight of the road bike didn't make up for the loss of the bigger rings on the back.

When I ride the MTB now though, its always on the big ring as all the others I just spin madly now.

11 miles in 42 mins is my fastest commute so far, averaging just under 16 mph, and there is 345 metres of ascent in that 11 miles.

I use a free program called PS3 Media Server. It can stream directly to your PS3, and even transcode stuff that isn't PS3 compatible into one that is.

There is a more recent beta version you can download from their forum.

I thought the batteries were there just to help get up the hills. Can't be easy pedalling up hill with two or three people sat in the back with all their gear.

Would that involve getting the frame faced though? Current BB is an internal one?
