without them in front of me, i think they have rebound at the top of the RH leg and preload under the top cap of the LH leg

set sag to what you require

then set rebound until they are bouncy enough for you :)

don’t they only have preload and rebound?

we have a 26″ toshiba for the same reason (26WLT66)

it’s on a folding bracket so it will go flat against the wall if we want it to disappear

it’s not full HD but i like the picture quality (we don’t have a HD source anyway)

sound quality is not the best

    you couldn’t be more wrong

in 6 years of riding there i have yet to see an injury requiring the emergency services on the north shore

the dirt jumps however regularly injure people

British Cycling won’t insure the shore but they will the dirt jumps

    explain that

ok, we just got told flat we weren’t allowed to help

when they took me out of cannock quarry they carried me with the help of bystanders up the side of a quarry to the helicopter

respect for that, definitely not an easy thing to do

oh and a person on a stretcher is VERY heavy, used to attend mountain rescue practices and it’s very hard work

in my experience of aiding ambulance crews at chicksands, if the surface is even vaguely loose the paramedics are not allowed to carry a stretcher. they often call the fire service to help. the public are not permitted to assist either

i have used North Face technical paclite shells for years

it seems like i have a similar problem to you with sweating even in sub zero temperatures

i have never found the need to buy a cycling specific jacket, the non cycling ones seem far better value for money

i NEVER ride in more than a base layer, a jersey and a shell (and biblongs)

in my experience nothing breathes like paclite

i’d look at a very lightweight windproof shell and a decent thermal layer, i find this a far more flexible system

at the moment (and that’s road riding down to about -5 bloody degrees C) i wear a merino top, a jersey and a lightweight windproof. yet to get cold.

i’ve always found thicker windproofs sweaty and restrictive

i did a conference where they wanted to use ‘walk this way’ as a walk up sting

i tried to explain the general theme of the song but it was lost on them

no idea but whilst looking around i found a glowing review from a forum regular

Submitted by hora horacek a Weekend Warrior from Surrey, UK
    Date Reviewed: September 15, 2004
Favorite Trail: Singletrack of Death, Morzine France
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
Strengths: Pin-point, it rails into berms, light, plush (if you get the right spring)
Weaknesses: Obviously due to its design there is a slight flex by the hub but then again I use carbon bars so can’t complain plus you don’t notice unless you are a jump-thing. Other weakness- cost? got my cheaper!
Similar Products Used: ***** ****, every suspension fork on the market?!
Bike Setup: 04 Heckler, Ti-sprung, Chris King Hset, rear wheel ISO, Hayes anchors, XTR, Thomson etc
Bottom Line: This fork bring out the smoother rider in you- you get off of the brakes more (it does lockout slightly at the front)- so I leave off of the brakes now. It rails, truely it does and with their strongest spring it will never bottom out.

Someone said “nowadays you need at least 130mm travel” Yes but what are you doing on the forks? I’ve come from 150 travel and the extra 50mm was wasted on me as I rode the bike very badly (i.e not smoothly).

I beleive the forks are improving my riding skills naturally and that has got to be a good thing.

Will post more as I ride

    i’d sell them now

freelance sound, video and lighting engineer

mostly corporate so felt the pinch a bit late last year, this year is looking busy though. Just having to work a bit harder, no flexibility to cherry pick work. lots of christmas party type stuff got canceled though and budgets are cutting back across the board on conferences. glad i don’t do rock and roll, they are feeling it worse.

have the slightly less powerful 1.7 Di engine in my combo van

blew an oil pump at 40000 miles but apart from that not bad

not the most refined engine around, the CDti engines are a far more modern engine if you can get one

i have been having crippling hip pain, sciatica and other back pain for years

recent MRI scan showed nowt so consultant said just be healthy and deal with it

i visit an osteopath and take pain killers when needed, i’ve given up on a medical explanation although i’m seeing an arthritis specialist in a couple of weeks
