    winston_dog,

Discharge tests have been done on loads of different AA batteries. The one I looked at showed the Duracell AA supplying 2A for just over 30 mins

    link to tests.

Rough calculations based on brief googlage.

Based on assumption of fresh Duracells (capable of 2A output)

Nissan Micra battery has 550 cold cranking amps, so you’d need to provide that.
    so

9X aa duracell in series gives (theoretically) 13.5 volts with 2A current.

    550 /2 = 275. so youd need 275 rows of 9 cells to give 550amps

so 2475 AA cells is a 9s275p configuration would start your micra.

A BMW 750 battery has 850CCA, so the configuration would be 9s425p or 3825 AA cells.

This is proper rough guesstimation though. 🙂

Would an MD110 suit your needs?

We have our incoming lines on an E1, internally we have pots lines, ip lines, and digital lines depending on LIM configuration. Once it’s up and running config via extension and directory manager is fairly straightforward. (Please excuse me if you know this already)

It’s also trunked to our CUCM as we are in a process of migrating, but that would be a 2 box solution for you as you’d need a gateway to provide pots.

    Cube editor for me.

11 speed alfine. Feels heavy on the back at first, but you get used to it.

Other than a couple of phantom shifts I’ve had no issues in the last 10 months, other than me falling off it last friday:(

Done about 2500 miles on it.

I used http://www.bikeflights.com/%5B/url%5D to send my Krampus to Norway. I had no issues with them.

Cost about £50 IIRC, but that was full bike and fully insured. Price is dependant on volume so a frame by itself would no doubt be a lot less.

+1 for bikeflights. Used them to ship my Krampus to Sweden. Great service.

Two chemists walked into a bar,

The first chemist asked for a glass of H2 O.

The second chemist said, “ooh, I’ll have an H2 O too!” and died.

I had my collarbone plated a week after I bust it.

I have an occasional issue with camelbaks and seatbelts, but it feels very strong.

I did get a mild infection after the surgery, but a course of antibiotics sorted that. You can feel the screw heads through the surface and airports become ‘interesting’

But the scar looks cool (IMHO)

8 miles in, varies going home.

I too have to ride in, or pay extortionate city centre parking.

I could get the bus, but it would take me 1.5 hours door to door.

25-30 mins on the bike, depending on wind.

Big thanks to the marshall at the top of stage three who held my bike down so I could get on it!

I thoroughly enjoyed today, maybe not the wind up to stage 3, but a good day.

At the top of stage 3 I was stood next to a guy with an ibis mojo. It was almost horizontal in the wind, good job he had a good hold on the bars.

My overall time was ruined by 2 flats in stage 3. I was running around 3m30s avg, took 22 mins on 3rd one putting me in 106th…

202 mins for the whole lap. I clocked it at 24 miles.

I had rode the course yesterday tubeless and burped tyre off rim resulting in a shredded leg so put a tube in for today.

Might have another bash at this enduro malarky.

    Could be sticky cables.

If they aren’t free enough in the housings it may not immediately release on an upchange.

I managed once with a Fizik Gobi Xm that popped out.

It inolved a vice, a large adjustable spanner, a pipe wrench and a whole load of swearing.

I stripped most of the paint off the rails in the process, but it went back in.

I’d love to be able to call a £50 saddle cheap mind…..

I just shipped my krampus to Sweden with http://www.bikeflights.com

130 USD, tracked all the way with FedEx.

As long as its paid for in advance, I wouldn’t have any issues shipping elsewhere.

I split the saddle on my enduro right through the middle. I tweeted a pic to @iamspecialized and @themasterlink responded saying to take it to my local dealer as it may be warrantable. I’d do that before I tried to glue it as once you’ve tried that you will most certainly void any warranty that you may have.

I trail fixed it with sticks and black tape. It was awful….

Mrslugz has owned a 2.0 tdi jetta for the last 5 years, 6 months old when she got it.

It’s had an abs valve block and is currently in getting a new turbo. ( sticky vanes)

Other than that its been a great car.

I have had an anthem 26er as my ‘race’ bike for the last 2 years. (By race I mean bike I have stuck numbers on)

I loved it, so figured a 29er would be ideal.

    This is the jammy bit.

    26er x1 £2400
    29er x1£2000

    I also got a discount on the 29er 🙂

What I can’t grasp is how the price difference wasn’t flagged up! You’d think someone would notice a 400 quid ‘discount’.

Everyone who has ridden mine has the same response.

“I thought it would be a big lardy sluggish monster but its not.”

Aye it takes a bit to get it going, but once it’s going it doesn’t stop for much!

My smallest was just over 5 when I got him a beinn 20 small.

He kinda gets the idea of the gears, but still needs reminding when we are out on the trails to select a more appropriate gear. Has no bother changing gears though.

When he first rode it he went everywhere in ‘Gear 7’ simply because ‘its the fastest one Dad’

He occasionaly struggles to change down when wearing thick gloves, other than that, no issues.

Its been a few years since I was there, but I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

Often had enitre families try to push in front of me and my Boy, queing obviously not a strong point.

Lunchtime tip – We stayed in a resort hotel which had a buffet breakfast. Stock up on rolls, ham and cheese. Lucnhtime sorted.

I now have its a small world on repeat in my head……

Me and MrsLugz had the acoustic version of foo fighters everlong played as our first dance.

I cried when we saw them live performing it.

And Cars – Drive. It was used as one of the ‘feed the world’ songs and although it doesnt bring tears, I always see the same image of a starving child whenever I hear it.

IMHO, ditch the bug ring for a bash, adjust the front mech stops and leave it at that.

If you’ve never used the big ring you’ll gain no benefit from changing the middle ring to a 36.

I have a similar sram chainset on my enduro, worked out cheaper to buy a cheap crankset and use the rings off it than it was to buy new rings.

    Cheers

    They certainly look nice.

I had a 54 plate one for about 6 months.

Centre propshaft bearing failed, abs/ traction control went tits, back doors rusted through. It had under 50K and FSH.

    Never again.
