No issues so far with my stealth. No external hose to snag is the biggest benefit. Bit of a chew on to remove it for cleaning though.

Had to replace the hose on a regular reverb after snagging it.

Anybody help with the stone faces on the walls – are they from the same film? Also am stumped on the frying pan despite googling all the hints given so far.

Stone faces can be ignored, frying pan – youve already answered it, just in a long winded way.

We had a similar issue with our CCTV PC’s

I ended up mounting a small LCD monitor in a flight case with a USB keyboard/rollerball combo in the bottom half.

You can make it as pretty or as ghetto as you like. Mine wasn’t pretty, but it worked, and was easy to cart around.

Pivot Mach 6, 1×11 XT M8000 ultegra chain. same problem.

If you put your bike on the stand and pedal back slowly you should notice that it drops on the shift ramps of the cassette.

Its got better as the chain has worn, but IMO its just poor design on the crank. Chainline on mine is straightest when in 8th gear, should be straightest in 6th. I’ll try a different chain next time, hasnt really been an issue as I dont tend to back pedal. 🙂

If your BB is a solid tube (unlike the ones on a Commencal Meta which has a step in it for the swing arm movement..) why not screw a hope one in.

Ten you have an even easier job of replacing bearings.

Do you still have the Talk Talk router?

You could plug that back in as a test.

If this proves to be stable, you could look at a new router or re purpose the ‘flaky internet connection’ one as a wireless access point.

MiniLugz (8) doesnt get pocket money, though does get rewarded for 100% on spelling/maths tests.
LugzJR(15) gets the equivalent of £10 p/w, and I pay his mobile bill. This is conditional on chore completion.

    He doesnt often get it.

Sky dont like you replacing their own router, so much so its a breach of their T&C’s.

Its a bit of a chew on to get the username and password off your sky router, and you then have to spoof the MAC address of your nighthawk. If you want to use it in place of the SKY one.

I tried the same thing when I was on sky, albeit standard broadband.

In the end I just disabled the wifi on the sky router and added my own router behind it in an AP configuration. Yes its an additional box, but it improved my wifi range and gave me Gigabit LAN speeds (internally only of course)

    BT call guardian.

Went from many unwanted calls per day to zero. Overnight. I now have no qualms at all about giving out my number as I know the genuine ones will get through.

    50 quid well spent.

Maybe dig a hole in the back garden, 3 ft deep approx, and at least 15 ft from the nearest dwelling.

Cover box with sandbags and you’ll be set.

the ‘pull the shoe on’ loop on My first pair failed after a couple of months. They were warrantied no problem. They have since been worn for every wet and every winter commute over the last 4 years. Only now is the neoprene cuff starting to show signs of failing.

Asked santy for a new pair of the same….

I tried to fit window tints once. (it was a while ago on a mk 3 escort…)

The finished article looked utter gash, bubbles and creases everywhere.

I got my van done by a company, cost me around 150 quid for the rear and side door windows.

    Looked 100 times better.

    YMMV

Ive used this to sucessfully seal some chinese batteries against the elements.

You can build up a good layer over time and it rubberises quite nicely.

I bought an invisiframe kit. They may be expensive but its all pre cut with clear diagrams so well worth it IMO. Ive seen some pretty shoddy DIY helicopter tape jobs, why save a few quid on the finishing off kit when you possibly spent £000’s on a frame?
