Don’t go about it half cocked like I attempted.

CCTV camera onto DVR. To be fair this was around 15 years ago.

Late 80’s early 90’s seemed to be the era of the house party for me. Worst that happend at a one I hosted was a fag burn in the bath.

Worst I saw was a cider and black vom onto the carpet disguised by moving the armchair.

A lot of in between shenanigans that let me to completley ban any kind of unaccompanied teenage gathering at my own house now. On pain of death.

I justpicked up a Scott Sub 20 for decent money. Full mudguards as standard, hydro discs, flat bars, deore running gear.

Isnt going to win any beauty contests but its fuctional. (Even less so as I stuck a set of nukeproof warhead bars on it)

Personally I cant get away with panniers, every set I have tried catch my heels.
I tend to not worry too much about what I wear, Its only 35 mins each way. Im currently in T-shirt and shorts, though if its raining when I leave Ill use a coat. Cheap flouro water resistant aldi type thing.

Tool wise I carry a multi, tube and pump. If its anything that cant sort Im walking. All in mid sized rucksack. (20L evoc)

D lock is left at work because it weighs a ton.

I like to add bananas and cinammon to my flapjacks.

Then cover them with dairy milk.

There are no cups on that frame, the bearing sits straight in the hole.
    top bearing is MH-P08F (41.8x8x45)
    bottom bearing is MH-P16 (52x7x45)

You may be able to use an on-one crown race adapter to get it to fit, but not 100% there.

My google-fu is failing me. A search for the uk distributor led me back to singletrack with a similar thread relating to big stone. Who no longer do it…

    Anyone have an email address?

Never heard Tilleys called a ‘newer style ‘ Pub before DazH!!

Think the only thing thats changed in the last 20 years is the condom machine in the Gents.

    Pubs – Tilleys, Bodega, Brewdog.

    food – Longhorns, zapatista,

Food and drink – The Botanist, Dat Bar.

Discovery museum is ok and free, Centre for life is worth a look, Hancock museum is good if you havent been before.

A wander round the grainger market is a bit like a trip back in time, get a cake from the pet lamb pattiserie, a sandwich from sloppy joes and some coffe from pumphreys.

Call in at Start Cycles and get some cheap stuff.

The hope one definatley doesnt fit.

    I tried.

I had my 2013 meta about 18 months and put 3 bottom brackets in it.

Shimano ones are cheap enough, but like already been said, they need a little modification to get them in.

Just to echo the other sentiments –

    go to a physio.

If youre in the Northumberland area I can recommend a really good one.

I had a very minor off resulting in a sore shoulder that wasnt getting any better. I left it thinking it wuold, then eventually went to a physio. I was diagnosed on the first session, rubbed and manipulated to ease the symptoms and given a set of exercises to do.

Im far from 100%, and even though its been over 6 months, the morning after a big day on the bike can be rather uncomfortable.

I used a one to ‘uplift’ minilugz at his mini DH race yesterday. strap round his headtube, held in my hand, 8mph up hill.

I found it a little underbraked on the way back down though.

    Mine varies around this:

unroll joint and rub with chilli jam. Leave for some time.

Stick in casserole pot with some apple juice, lots of garlic and a chopped onion.

cover and cook for a long time on a low heat. (12 hrs 120 ish)

Pull it out and let it stand. Drain off liquid and lumps of onion.

    Shred

Put some tomato sauce, golden syrup, chilli type stuff into a bowl and mix.

Pour in some of the drained off stuff.

    mix and pour on meat.

Put it in a big bun and eat it.

    🙂

I picked a lot up off my mam, but learned a lot more just ‘experimenting’. I am trying to get the large boy to level beyond pot noodles and oven chips, but he doesnt exactly show willing 🙂

On a different note, I built a 24″ wheel for Minilugz using a crest rim, hope pro2 evo SP hub and DT swiss comp spokes with no great issues.

If anything it was a little easier due to not having to ‘thread’ the spoke as much. (I appreciate that will not be the correct term)

Sillyoldman may have it. A rear 160mm mount is the same as a front 180 mount. Unless htere is any markings on it, the only way you can tell if its the right one is that it fits. 😉

    The arrow should point up.

Mine has a ‘Bike Hand’ badge on it. Paid around £40 off the ‘bay for it.

Strong enough, stable enough. Good bit of kit.

    Edit

Looks exactly like this, but mine was way cheaper.

I have a magicshine MJ-890 on the front and a cateye tl1000 on the back

the cateye batteries last for months, 2Xaa’s IIRC, and the MJ lasts me a week on my 1/2 hour each way commute. Set to flash.

18″ here. 140mm fox evo fork with a tapered steerer.

1 x 10 gearing using SLX stuff. Its a great dicking around on bike.

Had an issue with the rear dropouts working loose, but thats ‘healed up’

Cable routing on mine is pretty awful, but it was a second and some of the stops were mounted back to front. 🙂

Not weight related, but I emailed 2 people at Mavic enquiring about an ERD size and got 2 different answers. Still waiting for head office to confirm.

Love my vaults, but I had a bit of a job getting service kits for them.

Tried hopes f20’s – didnt like them
had v8’s – no where near as grippy
had v12’s – nice pedal, would have again.

    All IMO 🙂

Another Tom Tom multi user here.

Happy with it other than 2 things.

1 – you cannot start recording without GPS lock. May sound a non issue, but I use it daily to log miles on the commute, would rather it just started and then recorded proper when gps lock obtained.
2- Bluetooth transfer is very, very slow. (iPhone 5)

Other than that, no probs. Wear it daily as a watch, charge every 3 days or so, 1 hours GPS use daily, longer on weekends.

MiniLugz took ages to get through the night dry. There would be 2 week spells of dryness followed by 5 nights in a row.

We eventually ordered one of these The wireless one[/url]

It was very effective. As soon as it gets wet, a loud alarm goes off and wakes the sleeping child.

    And parents.

By no means cheap, but vey effective, and sold on – strangely…

He’s now 9 and every now and then we have a damp one.
