I had a 20″ monty, now have a 26″ saracen thing (currently in bits). They are an awesome workout. After a couple of minutes hopping about you’ll be blowing out ya hoop.

Once youve had a go and tried to hop up onto a couple of things, it gives you a fresh perpective on the abilities of Danny et al.

And Danny rides an inspired 24″ prototype. (grabbed from inspired bicycles website)

Had a 54 plate vito. Hated it. now have a 57 plate trafic and love it.

LWB crew version. 6 seats in front and 6 bikes in back no problem. (well you have to take some wheels off, but 5 fully assembled is ok)

    Glad you got it sorted.

I ended up handing mine back for a refund.

Long story, but I felt a bit let down with whyte customer service.

Shame as it was quite a nice ride.

    Motocross/trials style shirt?

I use Jitsie and Hebo stuff on top of a T-shirt during winter, Baggy enough to hide my midriff and not sweaty.

I did it last weekend for the second time. First time I failed as it was snowing.

I really enjoyed the climbing up to the hut, gets you warm and its a little bit tech in places, then you get to go down on britney spears. I thought the deliverence descent wasnt all that good, very rocky and quite a tough climb out.

IMO Innerleithen its a much better trail than GT black, and only a stones throw away. (edited after I read your post properly) 😳

I used Direct Courier Solutions off ebay to send a Demo 8. Insured up to £1000 it cost less than 30 quid.

Only downside is waiting in for pick up. They sent TNT to me.

No problems with them. search ebay for bicycle courier.

I just got a tomtom 950 with live. does the rerouting thing and learns ways you prefer to go. Full US and Europe maps. Was about 200 quid from ebuyer. Dont know if its still running or not but you can get cashback on certain tomtoms atm. I got £50, just need to trade in an old working satnav of any flavour.

Downside is the live part lasts a year then you have to pay.

I have juicy 3’s on my commuter. 180mm/160mm. Dont like them at all.

Even tried with 3 types of pad, stil seem to lack power.

But then again, they were £100 for the lot.

I think it would be a bit dangerous to put a balance bike on a trailgator. The childs feet would be permanently hovering!

mrlugz jr #2 learned on a balance bike when he was just under 18 months old. Never had stabilisers and is now riding a 16″ islabike unaided.

Cannot recommend them as a way to learn highly enough.

Tried him on a trailgator, didnt like being fastened in so he flopped his bike side to side until the thing broke.

TBH I much prefer to have him where I can see him when out and about.

I’d like to know if you (OP) got your bushes sorted. Reason I ask is that I had mine just over 2 months before it went back needing suspension bushes. (it also needed new fork internals and a new rear wheel bearing/freehub) This took a loooong time to sort out. (nothing to do with whyte/atb/lbs mind) I have had 2 rides out on it since all bushes replaced etc. It is now back with lbs with a cracked swingarm mount (same point where play developed) and a sloppy BB.

However, since I replaced the chain with a Mavic one, it has never dropped off the big ring. (it did initially)

Great bike to ride, but I feel somewhat dubious build quality.
