Total fitness bath and bike scene is guisborough both often sell older model spesh frames on their own. Might be worth giving them a call

If you are wanting to light the driveway for a considerable length of time, you could look at sodium lighting. No good for on-off situations, but pretty cost effective if you are leaving it on.

I did a couple of discs in riding in a trial. Was ok for the rest of the day but in the morning i was in tears. Had to crawl to the bathroom and pee in the shower as I couldn’t stand up. Was off work for 2 weeks and didn’t ride for almost 6 months. Lots of private physio too. Nhs would do it but take too long to sort anything out.

Hope you have a speedy recovery as I know how much it can hurt.

I think its just there to hold it together while you install it.

You’ll be fine as long as its tightened up right.

    How many of my staff….

    depends.

1 to do risk assesment/safe system of work, 1 to write method statement, 3 to put up scaffolding (cant work off ladders) 1 to take bulb back to the stores cos they got the wrong type first time and 1 to actually change the bulb.

    or 1 on overtime.

I love my job insomuch as it enables me to partake in things I enjoy via fiscal reward.

However, there is a guy at our place who is a Radio HAM and electronics enthusiast. He can talk to you for hours about wave propogation ang yaagi’s, absolutley loves anything to do with radio, and can repair pretty much any electrical device you can give him.

He works in our lab and repairs our rather complex radio system.

    Happy? oh yes.

Ive been up to kielder a couple of times this year. Both times with a crossmark xc on the rear/ ardent on the front. Last one was ok, one before that I ripped the sidewall on the descent from the radio mast just over the border.

I think I shall be putting another ardent on the back on the day.

    +1 on the WD Mybook.

Ran one now for about a year with no issues.

Use it as a share for all Pc’s in house, itunes library holder, and streaming video to a WD TVlive box thingy.

Just sits quietly in the loft and does its thing.

When we moved in to our place about 10 years ago, I wanted to put laminate down. MrsLugz had other ideas and came back with solid oak flooring.

Cost about 20% more than laminate and took a lot longer to lay, but it still looks nice now.

    edited for crummy spelling

This year I am very determined. Hoping to get to cp1 with an hour to go.

Camelbak for me. Always ride with one and don’t notice its there most of the time.

I’ve been there and its quite bloody awful.

I got out by making myself do things I used to enjoy.

I don’t want to share over a public forum, but if you feel like you want to air, you can email me. lugzy69@aol.com

I plan on retiring in less than 30 years.

    Somewhere with a warmer climate.

Other than that, take it as it comes.

But funding that does require planning now, surely?

No life plan here, but I got lucky. Cousin with a five year rolling life plan has done spectacularly, mind!

Not really. I work, pay into a pension, pay a mortgage.

Not so much a plan, more of a ‘thats just what happens day to day’

The stuff that happens within the next 30 years? I’ll just have to wait and see…

My frame has an ett of 585mm its a 19″

I run it with a 100mm stem and a layback post. (not sure how far) and it feels right for me at 6’1″ and 34″ inseam.

    The 2011 frames, 18″ has a 578mm ETT, 20″ has 589mm ETT
